The hotel is in a good location, there is a shuttle bus that can take you to the hotel from the Luton Rail / Bus Interchange to the hotel, and a stop outside the hotel to take you to the Airport. Check in was very easy and the staff are very friendly. The room was a standard Ibis style room, but I did have a view of the planes taking off! Breakfast was very good and was being replenished regular.
Absolute shambles. Room service app not working. Flat drinks from the bar. Visited reception twice to ask for another pillow to enter told (on second visit, no-one came to tell us) that they have run out of pillows, so could only have one each!!
We arrived at around 2am , too be told the room I had ordered through the web site was not available, sorry this is not good enough , I ordered this months ago , and I needed a twin room , Due too a disability on my part , we were offered a triple room on the first floor next to the lift , I turned this down as under requests, I always ask NOT NEXT TO LIFT, I asked them to put us in two rooms , this did not bother us I just needed sleep , by then I had been awake nearly 24 hours They checked my reservation and said I had not paid enough to warrant two rooms and they could not find my special request After about 20 minutes of waiting , what a surprise they found my , request on the web site , and put us in two rooms SORRY The staff were rude , not helpful , I have been using this hotel for more then 15 years , but will think again before I come back…
I stayed here first several years ago, and was happy with the stay. I stayed again this weekend, so just wanted to update, as the reason for my stay this time was different. The absolute massive plus for this hotel is the fact that it is walking distance from the airport terminal. In fact, I've probably walked further to my car at some "on-airport" car parks, and for the long weekend that we were there, it was very good value to park using the app. The rooms were small and basic, without anywhere to put a suitcase, but hand luggage only, and particularly if it were just one person, this is not a concern. The bar was vibrant the night that we were there, there was at least one stag do getting ready to fly out the next day, but there wasn't much noise in the room. I'd probably do exactly the same thing again if I'm flying out of Luton early.…
This hotel has sadly gone right down hill. We had booked well in advance a double room before our flight with parking while we were away with a price that had been confirmed by the hotel. On arrival it seems the parking is no longer run by the hotel having been taken over by a private parking company. We were initially told that we would have to pay far more than we were quoted and only after a wait while a duty manager was contacted did the hotel finally agree to honour the price quoted. We also intended to eat at the hotel but the restaurant (if you can call it that) was almost empty with boxes stacked on some of the tables, a poor menu, and just a very dark un inviting place to eat. We ended up going next door to the Holiday Inn for food (much better, nice menu, warm and busy) we had stayed at this hotel several times previously but this will be our last sadly.…
Good hotel, very nice location (especially if you arrive late/depart early). Close to Luton airport. Cons- more attentive check-in staff would be a nice addition as well as larger recycle bin in the room as well.
In my option this is probably the worst hotel II have ever stayed in luckily it was only for the night. We booked what was called a quadruple room for 2 adults and 1 child. Good job we did not have a second child as the room was so small I am not even sure where another bed would have fitted. The child's bed was dangerous as it had a wooden edge the length of the bed which was angled my grandson struck his head on this even trying out the bed, so I slept on it to avoid this happening again The pillows were terrible with very lumpy filling and the beds could have been concrete they were that hard. You had a kettle for making drinks but we had to use the plug socket on the limited floor space another safety hazard. When we mentioned the problems checking out just referred tooa website. My advice is you can't get another hotel get yourself a cardboard box it would probably more roomy and comfortable. …
We checked in late and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and bed comfortable, however, the shower didn't work and also the toilet didn't flush very well. Breakfast was a fairly decent buffet, toast, pan au chocolate s, yogurt s and cooked breakfast choices.
We visiting London on our way to Naples. We booked this hotel for 2 nights before heading further. The hotel rooms are really not nice. They are small and the walls grubby. Our shower barely worked. One of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The walk from Luton to the hotel is approx. 10 min. The walk to the train station is also 10 min in the other direction. Our plans changed and we needed to spend an extra night. We choose to book a different hotel for the extra night in London (hotel Z). We do not recommend to book this hotel.
This airport hotel is ok for a place to stay before a flight early the next morning. The room was clean and tidy. The rooms are very basic but it does everything you need it to for a few hours sleep before a flight. I had something to eat in the hotel restaurant and the food is really good and priced quite good for a hotel restaurant.
