The Old Stables was recommended to us by a friend and we weren't disappointed. Our room was very spacious with beautiful decor immaculately clean and well appointed. Lovely bathroom too with a fantastic shower. There is a fabulous breakfast menu, lovely food with locally sourced produce. The hosts Nina and Andy were very warm and friendly and able to provide...

Stayed on 6th and 7th June 2014. A perfect location, a few hundred yards from the sea, a large park (gardens) across the road and less than 5 mins stroll to Minehead high street. They ask you to remove your footwear as you come in, which makes perfect sense as you sink into the deep cream carpets and thick underlay....

Choose this B&B from a google search. Turned out very good value for £, compared with the price of many lower graded properties. Stayed 3 nights with a friend in a twin with private bathroom. There was a fridge in the room which was useful. Had a sea view. Easy to come and go as you please with no time...

My husband and I arrived here after a long trip from the west coast of Canada to begin our 170 mile walk along the coastal path. This B and B is so clean and fresh that it sparkles! The room we stayed in was large, airy and bright. The bed was comfortable and the linens luxurious. The breakfast was superb:-...

I traveled in England from north to south this March and ended my little tour in Minehead. I couldn't have chosen a better B&B for those last few days! Minehead was still a bit winter-sleepy but the owners of The Old Stables gave me perfect tips what to do and see around town and Exmoor. And I fell completely in...

Without a doubt, the best Bed and Breakfast (B&B) we have ever stayed in. Stayed for 2 nights in mid May 2014 and couldn't fault anything. Hosts were excellent and always had a smile when we met. Breakfast was perfect. Best scrambled egg we have ever tasted. Positioned less than 5 minutes walk to the sea front and the same...

Found this place via the local internet search. What a stunning place, definitely our sort of place. Clean, crisp, friendly, helpful & just the right amount of attention. From taking your shoes off when you arrive it is a true luxury home from home. We had a double downstairs, which was very large, but comfortable with views over the very...

Combined with the relaxing surroundings, sea views, excellent food, and friendly professional hosts, this bed and breakfast is quality in every way. The rooms are beautifully kept and of an excellent standard and the owners can give advice on local attractions and the many different walking routes across the surrounding somerset countryside. My stay at the old stables was perfect...

I travel regularly within the UK to get out of London and hike in national parks and in the countryside in general, and I have been to a quite a few nice B&Bs. This one was remarkably good. The rooms are big, white and immaculate, with soft carpets and designer furniture. They really are as nice as they look like...
