We stayed in room number 10. Excellent like having your own suite, large room, separate large bathroom fluffy towels Ideal for dogs as has separate entrance so they don't have to go into the main building. Only downside was the lack of mobile signal but as we were trying to have a break that was fine Will definitely stay again

We stayed in rm 10 - looking out over the garden. A lovely quirky room, very clean and comfy. Breakfast in the main hotel included yogurt, fresh fruit, home-laid eggs and local bacon etc. Lots of wonderful walks close by! The adjacent busy main road is far enough away to not disturb you through the thick walls. We would definitely...

I stayed here with my sister for a girly weekend away; we are both professional women who like luxury and spoiling when we are away. The room (number 5) was huge and decorated in creams, golds and reds with antique furniture. The bed was huge, there was a large wardrobe and plenty of other storage. There was also room for...

Good food, friendly staff, lovely sunny courtyard for relaxing and gentleman's club style lounge for after the sun has gone down. Right on the main road to Minehead, but no noise due to thick cottage walls. Picturesque building with every room different. It even offers DVDs and books! The only downside is that those thick walls mean limited or no...

We were a large party, with many needs for example some wanted superior rooms others wanted a room they could have a dog in....

We loved staying here. The hotel/pub is very spacious, we used 9 rooms in all including two rooms attached to the back of the hotel. Generally the place could do with some updating and TLC but for us it was great value hiring the whole place. We had a breakfast room, pub room with a real fire, comfy lounge room...

Stayed July 2013 - Will never go here again! My husband and I stayed here as it was advertised as 'dog friendly', which it was, but I didn't expect such a dilapidated/run down building, and our room was really tatty and old. We thought that maybe they'd put us in one of the worst rooms as we had our little...

This was a nice location on the edge of Exmoor Nat'l Park and good distance to the Medieval town of Dunster and the Dunster Castle. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a nice menu and buffet bar. The downsides were that the dinner menu was small...

Well decorated, looks nice although our room, that was under the roof and was cheaper, was not as good as the rest of the hotel. Nevertheless it was a good value. The dinner and breakfast were perfect, but they maybe need more staff because we had to wait a little.
