We stayed at Holly Croft during August bank holiday weekend. it was a very pleasant experience. the location isn't at the noisy and busy waterfront, but only a short drive away. it fitted us perfectly as it is quite and private. the room is lovely decorated, comfortable, and clean. we also had a separate lounge facing the beautiful garden. Christine...

The double is very comfortable with a large bathroom just across the corridor. The residents lounge looks down the lovely garden and this is where you have tea and scones on arrival - delicious. John and Christine are very helpful and will book pubs and the local bistro for you. John very kindly took us to two of our eating...

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Christine and John are so welcoming and looked after us fantastically. The house and gardens are beautiful and it is splendid to be able to wander in the garden & have the use of the guest sitting room. The breakfast was superb and a real feast. The bedrooms...

Nothing was too much trouble. On arrival we were welcomed with tea and cake, eaten in a lovely garden. This is a gem of a B&B and we will definitely be...

Christine and John could hardly have made us more welcome if we were long-lost relatives! We stayed in the en-suite room which was lovely, and a tremendous amount of thought had gone into everything we might need. Standard B&B equipment was present: TV, tea and coffee making facilities (but several types of each!), but also wi-fi, guides to local attractions,...

We so much enjoyed our stay here and Christine and John have pitched it just right: a warm and friendly welcome but not overbearing; a house which is immaculately kept and full of lovely antiques but where you feel free to relax and enjoy it all. We loved the little guest lounge which looks onto the garden - if Christine...

From start to finish we had a wonderful break. Holly Croft is a beautiful house, immaculately clean and definitely worthy of its 5 star rating. The double room with separate bathroom is lovely. The attention to detail is what makes this worthy of every penny. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into furnishing this house with...
