Just spent two nights with elderly in-laws. The staff were excellent and could not have provided better service. Parking was not a problem with a disabled badge but could be tricky if staying in Scarborough rather than day tripping to the surrounding areas. Would not let this put me off though. The food quality was excellent and matched equally by...

A lovely comfortable hotel, food excellent. Very well run by efficient helpful staff - we were made to feel very much at home. The position was good, in the centre of the town yet quiet. The street parking was quite simple and very convenient as there was nearly always a space towards the end of the day. Feel we have found...

A good hotel with good staff and excellent food, but parking on the street and remembering to fill the meter is a nuisance! Reasonably placed for the sea front which is only a few hundred yards away, but the town looks rather tired!

The Hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, welcoming and the food couldn't be better. The parking was explained clearly when we arrived and there are plenty of spaces around the hotel so no problems there. The staff are great and the bar prices very reasonable. The wines by the glass were great and well priced! We regularly visit Scarborough and we...

Nice Hotel, Comfortable, Clean, Food OK, Good Location - Staff need to be more informative about the parking arrangements - it cost me an extra £25 and could have cost me more they will obviously say it was explained in detail but I can assure it was not - would visit the hotel again.

Thank you for the kind comments relating to our hotel. Responding to negative reviews is always like walking a tightrope. Our stay was over a bank holiday weekend and Scarborough was busy but it was a joy to return to the hotel and relax in the very tranquil bar before an superb...

We had an excellent stay at the Crescent Hotel when attending a family wedding in Scarborough. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They made our visiting grandchildren very welcome when they came for breakfast. We had a very spacious and comfortable room overlooking the gardens opposite. The hotel is in a quiet location but is close to all amenities.

I've been staying here three or four years now and I love the location, the warm efficiency of the staff, the views, the breakfasts (I too am a fan of that smoked haddock and poached egg) and the dinners (my god, those steaks!). Only minor complaint is the restaurant takes last orders too early in the evening - but that's...

Very clean, comfortable with a spacious room in an excellent location. Bed was a bit soft for my liking. Breakfast was delicious, particularly the smoked haddock and poached egg. I would recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in Scarborough.

I have stayed at this hotel now for over 10 years during business visits to Scarborough. The staff and the management really go out of there way to make your visit exceptional in every way. I have stayed in probably every room by now, and have never had a bad one. I have my favourites of course! All rooms are...
