Firstly its a in great location. The main lobby is magnificent and impresses you a soon as you walk in. Staff very friendly too. Room was okay (to a point, see below). There is a few harsh words on here about this hotel and to a point I agree. But that's because it needs a fair amount of money spending...

This hotel's both exterior and interior are very impressive and must have attracted the hoy poloy in it's heyday in the early 1900's. Today, however, it must be a nightmare to maintain and it shows. Planning restrictions probably preclude the owners from installing PVC windows and Double glazing (and the cost!) but, that is one of the things the hotel...

Myself and my partner always stay here when we visit Scarborough it is in a fantastic location with numerous car parks near by. The rooms are spacious and very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly the whole atmosphere in the hotel is very warm and welcoming. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Scarborough now.

Took a group to stay at this hotel. Wonderful position with views over the sea and very close to shops and lift to beach. Beautiful entrance hall and stairs, toilet at top of first flight of stairs fantastic and luxurious but sadly this is where it ended. Bedrooms in desperate need of upgrading and decorating but the beds are very...

Arrived in Scarborough at two. Able to go straight to our rooms. Staff very helpful. Just had dinner excellent for the price and a cabaret to boot. Fantastic value for the money 💰 really recommend this place. Great if it's raining it's so big and plenty of rooms to get lost in. One again great value for the money 💰🤓

I booked this hotel for a break away with my Mum. We had a holiday at Scarborough 32 years ago and wanted to revisit some of the places we remember. The hotel has had some dodgy reviews on this site and, while I respect their views, I would not agree based on our experience. Mum and I had a lovely...

This is hotel is an absolute shambles. As soon as we walked in the place had an awful smell of a stable to which another guest said to us 'you don't have a donkey with you, do you?'. The brittania page says all hotels have free wifi and we had to pay £7 for one day of wifi which you...
