Words simply cannot describe how much of a lovely place The Grainary is! The accommodation is to very high standards as well as the staff who simply cannot do enough for you! We have stayed here twice now in a family room and recently in a cottage as a family get away to celebrate our daughters first birthday. The staff...

We were excited at the prospect of staying on a farm in an idyllic setting and The Grainary didn't disappoint. The rooms were basic but very comfortable and warm, the shower wasn't very powerful but we were notified of this in a letter upon arrival. We liked the family feel of The Grainary and even though we didn't take our...

Had an amazing 3 day break, very family friendly, wonderful food, amazing scenery. Animals are brilliant, pigs, sheep, highland cattle, donkeys, a 🐐, hundreds of lambs, ducks, rabbits. Room was lovely with views over the cow field.

Had a lovely trip away with my 2 kids. Everything about the Grainary is lovely. Being April it was made even lovlier by the amount of baby lambs that were around. Loved waking up to the sound of the farm every morning.

I have stayed at The Grainary a few times in the last 10+ years and have always found it perfect for my requirement's. In my opinion the location is in a great location for young and old alike, the bonus is the play ground and different animals for the youngsters to use and see. The food served for all meals...

Had afternoon here last year and not impressed at all, couldn't choose what sandwich or cakes we wanted. Scone came with squirty cream which by the time we got to it was just a wet mess in the dish. Decided to have another try today after reading reviews. I ordered All Day Breakfast, what a disaster, everything was just all...

Hi there, Thank you for taking time to to leave a review and your feedback. I'm afraid you've not got what our two dishes are all about. The Afternoon tea is a chefs selection, and we try to state that in the menu, but maybe not clearly enough. We will make note of that in the future. Re: the breakfast,...

We stayed for 1 night in the family room with our toddler. Overall the room was comfortable with a nice view of the pond. The PIR in the bathroom was unusual to work the bathroom light, which couldn't be turned on without the noise extractor running The farm and surrounding area was beautiful with an amazing view across the moors...

Kids loved it! Staff were friendly. Atmosphere was lovely and the surroundings were beautiful. Room was clean which is most important thing for me, bathroom was immaculate. Was a little pricey but well worth a visit if you save or can afford it :) we will definitely be back.
