I liked it! However, there was no air on in the "rooms". It was hot and uncomfortable. Probably because they were wooden cabins in the properties garden! This was unexpected as it was marketed as a Victorian guest house - the house itself may have been but nobody stayed in the house - guests were in the garden!!!! There was...

Excellent place! We are current stopping at the White House in one of their self catering log cabins whilst on a trip with the kids to Legoland. From the road it looks like you entering their garage down the side of the main house, but this opens up into a little oasis of calm. Pam was brilliant on our arrival,...

We had teabags, coffee and milk in the cabin which was lovely after our road journey. Lovely comfy beds and fluffy towels. Our daughter enjoyed playing on the outdoor equipment and...

Great location for Legoland and only half an hour on the train to London. Lovely, helpful and friendly owners. The log cabin had everything we could possibly need ... lovely soft towels, comfy beds, toiletries, fan etc. We usually eat out when we're away but the outside area was perfect for relaxing on an evening ... so we ate outside...

We could not shower as the shower head was broken. Further, the window locks were broken - we could not even close the window. This place is a shambles and ran by someone who simply ignores you if something goes wrong. There is wifi, but it's useless and the password would not work - the owner could not care less....

My wife and I stayed here with our little boy (5) on the 19 July 2016 for our yearly trip to Legoland. This is the first time we have stayed and done two days so we wanted somewhere close by. The White house is just 10 minutes drive to Legoland and has many places nearby like Harvester, Toby Carvery or...

It pains me to say that my partner booked us here as a surprise family weekend break and he got it spot on! I had no reason to moan at him because everything was perfect. Great lodges, well equipped, warm and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful owners. We will definitely return.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in the 1890’s and typical of a Victorian construction the White House was originally owned by the crown estates of Windsor castle, then during the 2nd world war it operated as a doctors surgery serving the local community including a factory where hurricane’s and spitfire’s were built. Now surrounded in a residential area, the White House has easy access to local attractions/amenities i.e. Lego land, Windsor castle, Windsor race course, Ascot race course,Thorpe Park, Black Park, Langley Park, London Heathrow, Slough trading estate and Pinewood Studios. We have secure car park, which is accessed through an electrically operated remote controlled security shutter. There are two restaurants within walking distance, The Toby and Harvester. The Marriot hotel is also in walking distance. ... more   less

“If I was staying at a busier time, I would ask for a cabin at the bottom of the garden as there would be less chance of being disturbed by other guests. I would also only take a small case into the cabin and leave what you don't need in the car as there's not a great deal of storage space if there are 3 of you. The car park is seconds away from the cabin and securely locked within the enclosed garden. I would also be prepare to sit outside in the covered veranda with a nice glass of wine!”
