Me, my wife and daughter wanted a reasonably priced over night stay somewhere that was ideal to get to London for one day and Legoland the next. The white house ended up being perfect for this. It was a straight forward trip down with the guest house not been too far away from the m40. When we arrived I did...

We stayed as a family of 3 on a trip south from Derby in between Woburn safari and legoland. This perfectly suited our needs, we knew that we wud spend only late evening and first thing in the morning in the room, and this suited us perfectly. One main room with a double and single bed, a small kitchen space...

We stayed for 1 night and had a lovely comfortable stay. We were met by the owner who was very welcoming. The en-suite log cabin was clean and had everything we needed including fridge, toaster microwave and crockery. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The excellent free wi-fi is a bonus. There is a lovely...

We came to this guest house without knowing what was waiting for us inside! Lovely cabins that our kid enjoyed, lounge with chill out area, outdoor playground. Great location close to Legoland and Harry potter studios. Great value for money. Will definitely recommend it to all our visits.

We stayed for one night before going to Legoland and stayed in a deluxe log cabin. It was warm, comfortable beds, decent size shower and a small kitchenette which was ideal for breakfast. Secure parking on-site was a bonus. Small children's outdoor play area on site with seating on the decking outside the cabins. 6 cabins in total which would...

I liked it! However, there was no air on in the "rooms". It was hot and uncomfortable. Probably because they were wooden cabins in the properties garden! This was unexpected as it was marketed as a Victorian guest house - the house itself may have been but nobody stayed in the house - guests were in the garden!!!! There was...

Excellent place! We are current stopping at the White House in one of their self catering log cabins whilst on a trip with the kids to Legoland. From the road it looks like you entering their garage down the side of the main house, but this opens up into a little oasis of calm. Pam was brilliant on our arrival,...

We have just returned from a 2 night break here and stayed in one of the cabins which was clean, comfortable and cosy. Pam was really friendly and helpful. We had teabags, coffee and milk in the cabin which was lovely after our road journey. Lovely comfy beds and fluffy towels. Our daughter enjoyed playing on the outdoor equipment and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in the 1890’s and typical of a Victorian construction the White House was originally owned by the crown estates of Windsor castle, then during the 2nd world war it operated as a doctors surgery serving the local community including a factory where hurricane’s and spitfire’s were built. Now surrounded in a residential area, the White House has easy access to local attractions/amenities i.e. Lego land, Windsor castle, Windsor race course, Ascot race course,Thorpe Park, Black Park, Langley Park, London Heathrow, Slough trading estate and Pinewood Studios. We have secure car park, which is accessed through an electrically operated remote controlled security shutter. There are two restaurants within walking distance, The Toby and Harvester. The Marriot hotel is also in walking distance. ... more   less

“If I was staying at a busier time, I would ask for a cabin at the bottom of the garden as there would be less chance of being disturbed by other guests. I would also only take a small case into the cabin and leave what you don't need in the car as there's not a great deal of storage space if there are 3 of you. The car park is seconds away from the cabin and securely locked within the enclosed garden. I would also be prepare to sit outside in the covered veranda with a nice glass of wine!”
