a lovely C17th working farm about 15 mins from Manchester Airport. Warm welcome from the friendly owner, Sharon ( and the cat and dogs in the farmyard). Really quiet, so comfortable, clean bed - I hadn't slept so well for a long time. Good en-suite bathroom, tea and coffee tray with fresh milk, television. Breakfast, at the very early hour... More

We stayed here the night before and after our friends wedding. Sharron was friendly and very helpful. She went out of her way to ring the taxi firm to ensure the taxi we had booked had all the correct details which was reassuring as we didn't want to be late. There was a lovely breakfast with lots of choice from... More

My group stayed here for a night last year using all three rooms. This year three of us returned for a longer stay. This is an excellent farmhouse accommodation, conveniently located for Manchester Airport. It is also very close to Tatton Park and other West Cheshire attractions, as well as having a handy train service from the small local station... More

The location was quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is excellent with on suite facility and breakfast was second to none. Will make this my first choice whenever I need accommodation. in this area. The location is ideally located for a visit to Tatten park and the surrounding villages.

The location was beautiful English countryside. A working farm with a friendly couple that own the house and the farm. We stayed in the room with en suite and loved the view from our bathroom and bedroom windows. Breakfast was good offering various options. We walked to the local pub for dinner, a little more than 1/2 a mile and... More

We stayed here before setting off on our honeymoon. We had an early flight to catch and this place was perfectly located about a 15min drive to the airport. Lovely cosy place to stay, quiet surroundings. Clean, quirky and beautifully kept farmhouse. Much nicer than the usual airport hotel. We will be back!

Stayed overnight on our return from holiday. Late arrival but everything was waiting for us. Comfy bed, tea making facilities, and a wonderful farmhouse breakfast. Thank you Sharon for making us feel so welcome, we will certainly stay with you next time we are on our way to Manchester Airport

bMy husband and I stopped at Birtles Farm breakfasts were forr bed and breakfast. The breakfasts were very nice and plenty of choice. The only comment is that the on suite area was a little cramped. The shower was big enough but other things were a bir tight. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the host was very pleasant.

Had a lovely overnight stay in this beautiful farmhouse whilst waiting to collect a family member from the airport. A warm welcome with a pot of tea in the residents lounge set the tone. The bedroom was very comfortable and little touches such as the dressing gowns and fittings mean that this B&B punches above its weight. Super tasty and... More

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends in Manchester. I really can't fault this lovely B&B and its host Sharon. After doing my usual research on Trip Advisor booked through Booking.Com with the minimum of fuss and secured a double room with breakfast for a very reasonable price. We did find Birtles Farm eventually after resorting to using Google... More
