The hotel is in the village of Hale. Hale is lovely. The hotel is a down at ear hotel, which is fine for a v quick stay heading to the airport. The wifi is in the communal areas, not in the rooms. No free car parking, only some in the local pay and display. Windows in room didn't open, slithery...

The room (105) was red hot and the only saving grace was a fan with no gaurd which when turned on came loose and nearly decapitated a work college and sounded like a 2 stroke. No disabled access. The bathroom was foisty. The clandestine gang of foreigners which used our corridor as a hangout were intimidating at best but fortunately...

We stayed here on a Wednesday night ready for an early flight from Manchester on Thursday morning. We booked it as a package through purple parking with airport parking too. Yes it was cheap but even if it's cheap you do expect the basics, like to be able to get into bed! The bed was wedged into an alcove in...

Stayed 11/07/2015 1nt Room 0223. Where should I start ? Worked in Travel for 20 yrs and agree with the standard Pay for What You Get, but at £98.00 for a Standard Room, I would have expected a MOULD FREE BATH MAT, CLEAN WINDOW SILLS, DUST FREE BEDSIDE LIGHTS ! The standard of cleaning is appalling, concerned about the Mould...

My grandson and daughter in law checked in tonight (16/7/15) and found the hotel not fit for purpose. The Shower curtain was dirty, the windows were nailed shut, they changed room and found that the TV and internet was not working so moved back to original scuzzy room. It was booked via Airtransat - never again!!!

We needed a reasonably priced hotel near the Manchester Airport for one night so we booked the Britannia Ashley on line. We drove up and down the street trying to find the hotel. After we could not find it, my husband called and got directions. We found it on a side street next to a Co-Operative store. It was a...
