Rooms were perfect size and beds reasonably comfortable. Unable to get breakfast due to having to leave but the host made a take away sandwich and a cuppa which was lovely. Cant fault the place at all. Cheap little B&B just a short walk from the main strip which was great

Our two stay was booked by Sherpa Expeditions for us and we were so pleased they picked this place! Kelly has put together a great establishment with a great room and lovely breakfasts. It has a beautiful little courtyard and it has been beautifully appointed. Kelly is full of local knowledge and hospitality shines through. We cannot recommend her beautiful guesthouse enough. Well done! Just a short walk from the train station. A little oasis!

This place is lovely and modern and the people who run it are nice and friendly too. Breakfast was good also. The only drawback for me is how busy the road outside is as I prefer peace and quiet. But it’s the ideal location if your coming for a party weekend, loads of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

I’ve stayed at the Abbey Court Guest House a number of times in the past. It’s recently had an update. Very nice rooms, comfortable bed, nice on suite, lovely hosts and a super breakfast. I’m wheat and gluten intolerant, which wasn’t a problem :)

A good welcome. Very covid aware so I felt very confident in staying here My room was spotless & recently renovated; i appreciated the large number of well placed plug sockets, excellent wifi and a flat screen TV with decent reception The bed was comfortable with good linen & towels. My twin bed room was big enough but it had a very small en suite bathroom- frankly not all my friends would have fitted in (no, I don't mean all at the same time) but it was ok for 2 nights. I needed to ask for shampoo which was gladly provided- apparently most guests bring their own nowadays The breakfast was fine & served quickly & with good cheer. Every breakfast item needed to be ordered on check in to minimise extra staff interactions. On school days you may need to be down by 8.30 so the owners can do the school run. The dining room was also newly renovated & there is an attractive yard outside. Clever use of mirrors enhanced the sense of space here The house is on a very busy road & I was worried it might be noisey. My room was at the back & in the event it was very quiet. Parking is semi private- I was lucky enough to nab one of the private spaces at the side on both days but I wouldn't have left valuables in the car as the road into town isn't the smartest and on a Saturday night was pretty leery. On the other hand there is a very fine well run Indian restaurant (Masala Palace I think) just a couple of minutes away heading into town I would say fair value overall when booked on booking.com A well organised business that seeks to cater to individuals needs. They deserve to do well in these difficult times. I commend them to you!
