Superb little B&B disguised as a terrace house on a main road into Carlisle. The road has no effect on your nights sleep as it cannot be heard and the beds are so comfy. With a combination of being made very welcome, great breakfast, cleanliness and Janette herself it is a little gem well worth every penny. If you want...

Needed somewhere to stay for 1 night whilst in the area. Found this little gem via Late-rooms. Room was clean, comfy and had all facilities required. Breakfast was excellent, friendly and helpful hosts...and good choice of music on over breakfast....would recommend!

Just stayed in this lovely little bed and breakfast!! and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern our room was. As soon as we entered the front door we were made to feel welcome and knew instantly I'd made a good choice. As being one of the cheapest in the area I was slightly worried about what it would...

Couldn't ask for anything more from a guest house. Excellent value for money. Breakfast spot on! Would highly recommend. Stayed only one night and was an excellent...

I have stayed on two occasions and have another week booked, made really welcome by Karen both stays. Lovely comfortable bed and room, spotlessly clean bathrooms, very good breakfasts. Karen happy to meet dietary requirements. Very happy to recommend this guest house. Easy to find on the main road into Carlisle but not noisy.

Thank you to Ashbourne Guest House for a comfortable overnight stay on our way to Scotland. We received an excellent welcome (even though we didn't arrive until 10pm), fabulous and filling breakfast with the items we requested and most importantly a really spacious and comfortable family room. We would definitely stop again.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. Karen was extremely accommodating and cooked a great breakfast. We had our two dogs with us who were also made welcome. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. We stopped here on our way to Scotland making time to visit The Lake District and Hadrian's Wall. This was a...
