Nelio could not have been accommodating, I came to Stamford for a funeral for a dear friend, Nelio was waiting for me and showed me where to park.... the room was lovely, fridge had bottle of water, orange juice and a pint of milk, and I had a wonderful breakfast in the morning before I returned home... so pleased to have stayed here... do go and stay you will not be disappointed

Where to start service awful food awful price awful why this review here goes arrived at 7.45 for 8pm table got to finally sit at 8.55 after many complaints from other waiting guests who also complained. The menu was fixed but yet he didn't have certain items and yet only 6 tables all night go figure.starter arrived fresh from the microwave so hot hot it stuck to the plate.Tried for ages to get a drink with no luck the table opposite us piped up to the poor lad running ragged like a deer in headlights our table would like a drink some 40 minutes later a bottle arrived. Now to the main course I had the substitute lamb big mistake rubbery and so much fat and my fiancee had the stroginoff watery and zero taste we were supposed to have a sweet as a 3 course meal but after seeing the factory processed cheese in individual wraps gave a miss couldn't wait to get home and just right the whole evening off oh and price for this fiasco £91 for 2 people sorry for the long rant but my god avoid at all cost so you too don't have a bad evening.!!!!

We stayed here for a night on Bank Holiday Weekend in August 2020. The owner Nelio and his wife were lovely. Epic breakfast. Charming hotel but the drinks were very expensive, comparable with what we pay in London but not presented as well. £9.50 for a standard G&T / Rum and coke.

My wife, our friend and I had two nights there. The friendliest proprietor you could ever meet in Nelio. Engaging, genuine, and warm. The rooms were great, the breakfasts (including my vegetarian pancakes) were awesome. Central location yet away from the main roads, so no traffic noise. Can't wait to get back there!

Stayed here for a couple of nights with some friends, it is clean, the rooms are nice and the owner was amazing. He was very helpful and nothing was a problem. The breakfast was really well cooked and delicious, I would not hesitate to stay here again, we all had a great break.
