The gym has recently been refurbished and had the techno gym equipment installed. The hotel is nice and just outside the city centre of Birmingham so good if visiting the city but want to be in a suburban area.

Possibly the worst antequated hotel ive ever stayed in. Very disgusting and madsively dated. Think of the hotel in the film vacancy and your almost there. Just dont do it pay a little more and stay somewhere else even if this does seem a bargain. Id rather sleep on park bench

As we entered reception there was a strong sewage smell present. Staff were very good who checked us in. Room was very dated, door handle to bathroom hanging off, damp in the ceiling, generally in need of a refurb. Used the leisure facilities and again, staff were very good. Had to complain about noise in the night and to top...

We stayed here for two nights, firstly we were allocated a lovely refurbished room on 2nd floor with no stairs as my husband is unable to walk far due to a stroke. Unfortunately while we were there there was a fairly loud noise nearby, maybe a generator or something. I asked if we could change rooms and we were given...

After I booked I read the reviews and thought "Oh what have I done" however, I must say our stay was lovely! Upon arrival the...

We stayed here as we do not live in Birmingham any more and was attending a family event. It cost us £119 for a family suite that was of a decent size and very accomodating, included breakfast and use of the gym facilities/swimming pool which were fantastic. The hotel served very nice food both in the evening and for breakfast...

Stayed here for 2 nights and food was ok in restaurant but nothing special. The room service was excellent and the staff on reception and in the bar were helpful and friendly. The room I stayed in was clean and serviceable but was dated and quite cold. The facilities at the leisure complex were first class and staff very welcoming...

Stayed a Saturday night recently in a double room , after a half mile walk , two lifts to get to the room I was very disappointed by how tired and warn it seemed , noisy old radiator, loose toilet seat , really needs modernisation. I was all prepared to give it 1 star until I had dinner in the...
