Firstly paying for parking to stay at the hotel. I just think that is super cheeky. Secondly my purple throw that goes at the end of the bed had suspicious white crusty stains on it from what I can only assume was a randy precious occupant. Thirdly the noise was horrendous. I wss in 32 and the noise from any...

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and I apologise that we did not live up to your expectations. Can I respond to the issues you have highlighted one by one. 1. Car Park charges As we are in a town centre location Car Parking is at a Premium and all the town centre hotels have charges...

We stayed at hotel for 5 nights. The breakfast choice was very good served in comfortable surroundings . We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and again there was a good choice of dishes which were very tasty. We were upgraded on our arrival from a compact room to a larger double room. It was clean and had...

Thank you for your positive review. I will have a look at the bathroom in the room you stayed in and see if we can install a heated towel rail. Thank you for letting me know about this.

This has potential to be a lovely little hotel. Some great things going for it but not being able to have a proper shower in the morning is a major let down meaning I wouldn't stay here again until they sorted it. The good points - the food, it's excellent. The restaurant is cosy and well decorated and the food...

Thank you for your review and I am pleased to inform you that we are shortly going over to mains water pressure which we have been told will resolve the shower pressure issues as well as the wait for hot water which can take a little while when demand is not high.

We booked 2 nights at this hotel through Buy a Gift to include breakfast and dinner on first night. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and were swiftly given the key to our room (8). This was on the top floor and although heavily pregnant I would not recommend booking a room any further than the...

Thank you for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay and especially the food. I am pleased to say that the water pressure issue is being resolved and the next few months will see the last rooms and coridoors receive a make over.

The Corner House hotel is nicely located just a short walk from Taunton centre. Ideal for a night out. The hotel offers onsite parking (at a price of £5 per day) but the access in and out is tight to say the least. I drive a Renault Megane coupe and it felt tight so I can only image the available...

Thank you for your review and I believe I have covered car park access and exits on a number of occassions and I would certainly not recommend for transit vans and large vehicles (although Steve our maintenance man trundles in and out in a van) but it is good to highlight this to fellow readers. The room you were in...

Wonderful service, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Events like these, for approx 30 people, are always difficult to get right. We've had some bad experiences over the years and so are always nervous but we needn't have been! We had a fantastic time and are very happy to recommend....

Read some terrible reviews but the place is fine. Compact rooms are not too small. Friendly service and free fruit. Only 10 to 15 minute walk into town. Car park a bit expensive but not hard to get in and out of.

Reasonably priced town centre hotel. Facilities are similar to the corporate giants (Travel Lodge, Premier etc). Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lots of stairs to our room (not a problem for us but might be for some). We booked a compact double room which was as described. The room had an on suite toilet/bath/shower, nice duvet, tea/coffee, TV, hairdryer,...

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your breakfast and that the staff were helpful. I apologise that the vacuuming was not up to standard and I have raised this with housekeeping.

My second visit, just for one night. Staff are friendly and service is fine. My room (20) is small, tied and a disappointment. The bathroom had no working extract, the walls had peeling paint. My main grumble is noise, room must be above the kitchen, you could hear every pot move! Corridor creaking sounds and people talking in adjoining bedrooms....

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Noise and shower pressure are top of my agenda to sort out in the early part of 2017 as our customers have highlighted this as an issue on a number of occasions. Room 20 is due to be refurbished at the Start of 2017 and this will include...

I stayed here with a work colleague for one evening. This is an old building with a very lovely feel to it. It has bedrooms on several floors with several little staircases, not ideal if you find stairs a problem. The staff offered to carry my bags up to my room for me. My bedroom was very small but had...
