I have stayed at this hotel recently on two occasions, and found it comfortable and welcoming. The decor appealed with a tasteful selection of antique furniture. The rooms were spotless and well equipped and the beds were comfortable. In particular, the staff/management were welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Spent one lovely evening in a large family room. Lovely and clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff and very accommodating of our friends Old English Sheepdog. Well cooked full English breakfast eaten leisurely past our check out time was a great bonus.

Having stayed in this hotel on four separate occasions throughout 2016 I can say, without a doubt, if I need to go back to Taunton this would be my hotel of choice! I had three different rooms over the year, two with four poster beds and one with a nice double. The first room with a four poster had a...

Large house with a lounge and many comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. 10 minutes walk from the town centre in one direction and the station in the other. The many pubs nearby do not serve good food so walk/drive to the Ring of Bells for an excellent dinner.

Stayed at the Blorenge last Saturday night, for a visit to the Theatre in town. Easy parking in the hotel car park, warm reception from the desk, lovely large room with the biggest four poster bed I've ever seen. Cosy bathroom, quite sufficient with good shower. Big telly and a quiet ground floor room facing the garden. Tea, coffee biscuits,...

We stayed here for a couple of nights for the cricket earlier in the year & to be honest wouldn't do so again. The hotel is pretty centrally located & does have a car park, which is definitely a pro. However, it's pretty tired & the staff aren't exactly welcoming. Our main issue was with the service. The first morning...
