Visited today for the Santa Sunday (carvery meal, a magician, disco and visit from Santa). The food was lovely, the beef was beautiful and cooked to perfection, and the profiteroles were in my sons words 'the best thing he's ever eaten'. The staff are so friendly and attentive, you feel really looked after here. Prices are more than reasonable too.

The hotel was a lancaster bomber site and has a lot of memorabilla including a small museum. The staff were very friendly and the beds comfortable. The room had all you required for a short stay. The breakfasts were good and plenty of food and coffee and tea.

Lovely little hotel, comfortable and clean with a friendly atmosphere. My room was spacious, with comfortable twin beds and nice clean white bedding. The room was lovely and warm as was the rest of the hotel, which is just what you need in December. The shower was good, nice hot water and heated towel rail, with good quality fluffy clean...

It was obvious it was chosen by the company for price and not quality. My room was dirty and was in need of dusting. The general decor throughout was old and dated and in a serious need of refurbishment. The was a damp musty smell throughout the hotel. The restaurant food was not as tasty as a Morrisons Ping Ping...

I arrived late to check in and got a warm welcome from the staff. I was a little hesitant about staying at the hotel after reading some of the reviews but I needn't have worried - nothing was too much trouble & they made me a lovely sandwich and brought it to my room, despite the late hour . The...

Very easy to find and a large free car park. 24 hour reception.. A warm welcome from very helpful staff. I had a large twin room which was light, airy and lovely and warm. I left early in the morning so did not have breakfast but the dining room looked very good. This hotel has got to be the best...

The rooms are old and run down and need a full refurbishment. We were told they had been done which was a lie as the room I had was exactly the same as last year. On the plus side, the staff were friendly. I will NOT stay at this hotel again and would NOT recommend it.

My Dutch pen friend and I stayed here as part of an organised trip and we basically got what we paid for! Very basic room needing refurbishment but very clean linen. Unfortunately Room No 9 overlooked cold store and sleep was disturbed all night by running motor, we had to have window open as it was so hot. However reception...

I was well pleased with our stay. I had read some of the reviews and was quite sceptical. Yes some areas needed some TLC However the staff were very nice. The good was adequate. The room was clean, yes in desperate need of refurbishment. I listened to the staff and they all said that the hotel was being upgraded. Close...
