Stayed here for the weekend while visiting relatives nearby. Our dog was warmly welcomed and the lovely Poole park was right next door. We enjoyed a well cooked breakfast and found the owner a very pleasant and chatty person. We were among the last to stay there as the hotel is closing shortly and wish we had found it sooner.

Whilst the decor/style/fixtures/fittings would be more suited for the older generation of guest, as the Quarterdeck hotel is a "traditional style" hotel, it MUST be emphasised that the hotel was clean, tidy & very good value for money. This was a repeat stay but sadly we have learnt that the hotel will be closing in around 5 weeks time due...

We stayed in the hotel in August for two nights. We arrived late but managed to get a rather pricy drink at the bar. While we ordered the drinks and chatted to the owner he stated: 'fish and the guest smell after three days'. Which we thought was not an appropriate comment even as a joke- we thought. Our room...

The hotel itself which although was pretty clean was very dated, like a 70s hotel tbf, the staff (we only saw 2) were pretty absent & when we did meet were not very conversive. There was no big welcome or goodbye, no mention of anything that would be of interest to us during our stay, it felt like we was...

We stayed for a night at the Quarterdeck in early September when visiting our son in Poole... The area is nice, lovely garden view from our ground floor room. The room did smell a bit "doggy". Great breakfast in the morning, pleasant staff. Overall a good visit...

Doesn't acknowledge the customer even when the fact it was our wedding anniversary, their was no compromise from the HOTEL. Having booked this Hotel on 'booking com' as part of the family holiday returning to Poole by Ferry thus the intention was to have a good nights rest! In raising issues in regards to the Hotel, this was done with...

Dear Sir, Once again I have the pleasure in responding to your review. I did confirm with booking .com your reservation as you did book only single occupancy and I needed to know this for the commision rates. You did complain to me about your room and when I asked you what was wrong the only answer you gave me...

A hotel I stayed at in Poole cause Bournemouth was chock- a- block on9/9/16 This hotel was in a rather quiet part of town with a nice park at the back, rooms were OK too, but the food was what set it apart! Supper and breakfast were really excellent.

The décor in the Quarterdeck is rather dated but the hotel was clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was good. We did not have an evening meal in the hotel but found a great little place about 10 minutes up the road called Isabel's.
