I booked this break as a Xmas present to my parents. We had 2 rooms 221 & 222. Both with a balcony and perfect view over the beach sea. Our bath had a bit of rust around the plug. The rooms were warm, comfortable, plentiful in tea/coffee, and spacious. Corridors have suffered a

The Seaview Double Deluxe With Balcony at the Sandbanks Hotel
Hello, I booked a sea view room with balcony for my parents and a harbour view for myself and my partner and we were given good sized rooms in the newer (1970's?) addition to the far end of the hotel. I see you are from Bournemouth anyway so the view is something you are used to as as far as a Special Treat destination, I do hesitate as, without the location, the hotel itself is very tired and lacking in the style expected of a 4star ... the staff were very good but for me, the office-like ceilings and carpets of the rooms felt less than luxurious. If you want to stay relatively local, I would say that the Pig on The Beach would be a much better romantic option

No restrictions were made during our stay. It's very deep at one end and not very big. Swimmers stand no chance
