Booked a room with a sea view. Sublime location. Rooms very well equipped, large restaurant with excellent quality food. Tables well laid out not on top of each other. Well stocked bar and some very nice wines. Spa was superb. Could do with a few more lockers in the changing rooms. Outdoor heated pool and seated area with glass windbreaks...

We fancied a lovely English tea with all the trimming, where else but the Haven Hotel right on the water. Well here is why not. No tables in the shambolically arranged bar / lounge area, well no problem we thought, there are some empty tables by the side of the bar, well next to it really, some people having drinks...

A true haven - but you can call it heaven as well. Just a one night escapade for a surprise prepared by my better halve. Lovely place, fantastic room with view to the Sandbanks, nice room pateo with table and chairs and a full (english and continental) breakfast that can't be faulted. The price is not cheap but all in...

We visited the hotel this afternoon after being given an afternoon tea experience gift. On arrival there was nowhere to park as people had parked across 2 spaces. After talking to a member of staff we were told to park elsewhere away from the hotel! After finally being able to park, we went inside where staff were to be honest...

As we live locally, we have not stayed at the Haven Hotel but we have had lunch there and would fully recommend the experience. Excellent service and delicious food; white onion & parmesan soup with white truffle oil, chicken liver parfait with parsnip, golden raisin, watercress and pistachio. Then, salmon ballotine, tomato and caper salsa, lobster oil and crème fraiche....

We booked a day on Valentine's Day to celebrate.Bit out dated . Very good location.need vast moderation and refurbishment. Staffs are not bothered what you do..Need to keep an eye what they are doing. Not very clean and old decor. Room ceiling is like shop ceiling . Very disappointed

Stayed at the hotel for Friday/Saturday Night. Had a budget room which are very small. Hotel needs a little bit of TLC-frayed carpets, towel rails not working, spa equipment needs fixing Staff are really charming and very helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable. Did not try the evening meals

Really wanted to give 31/2. My sister treated me for my birthday and booked our usual room (118) which we have had before. It's got a lovely large balcony with a sea view. She had also booked a spa treatment for each of us and also dinner at 8. On arrival at our room ( which now looks a bit...

We live locally and visited the bar for coffee and drinks, but didn't stay to eat as the menu was overpriced and seemed to go for style over substance, judging by the plates we saw carried through to the restaurant. The hotel is beautifully situated right at the entrance to Poole Harbour, near the ferry, so the view is always...

The Haven Hotel is a luxurious four-star spa hideaway. Perched at the tip of the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula in Poole and surrounded by sea and sand. With direct access to seven miles of beaches and just a couple of steps away from Purbeck over the Shell Bay chain ferry. It’s your gateway to South Coast adventure. Featuring elegant and spaciously designed bedrooms with modern creature comforts. Many of which offer ocean view balconies, so that you can embrace the sea air in your pyjamas. We believe that these naturally beautiful surroundings deserve food that’s a little special. La Roche at the Haven Hotel offers an ambient place to dine. Highly acclaimed by locals and recognised for first-class service and exceptional quality with two prestigious AA-Rosettes. Maintained by the talent and skill of Head Chef Jason Hornbuckle. When the Sandbanks sun shines, our terrace is an enviable spot for alfresco dining. You can literally hear the waves crashing as you recline with a glass of wine. Relaxation is often thought of as a luxury; at the Haven Spa we think it’s a necessity. Haven Spa is a sanctuary to unwind your mind and come to your senses. Stroll from the indoor hydrotherapy pools to the chic outdoor heated pool, complete with sea view Jacuzzi and sun lounger area.
