Stayed a week and loved every minute. The room was spacious and comfortable with fresh milk and tea and coffee provided, The breakfast was very nice and the hosts really looked after you! Although the farm is down a single track road so very quiet at night, it was easy to get to the beach or Ipswich with a short drive. Highly Recommended.

What a brilliant place to stay. Barbara the host greeted us on arrival, and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the studio ( where Giles the cartoonist worked ) she gave us a little insight about his life. The studio is very spacious with panoramic views on 3 sides. Also the shower room is very large. Breakfasts are plentiful with locally sourced food and tasty. The only downside is the single track road to get to it, if you meet another vehicle, passing places are very few and far between! . All in all a very good value place to stay.

Stayed on a Sat night in the Giles studio room, quiet part of the area. Incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. Accommodating to veggies. Amazing homemade jams and honey. If in the area again I’m only staying here!

We stayed in Giles' former studio for a couple of nights last week. Our hosts were very friendly and chatty, telling us about the history of the farm and recommending local pubs. If you are looking for a very rural, quiet location with good views then this is the place. The studio has big windows on all sides with lovely countryside views and if you wander around outside you'll come across chickens, geese and even llamas (on adjoining land). We didn't venture away from the farm on foot as it is located about a mile along a single track road which is scary enough in a car (although the postman cycles on it!). Breakfast is a nicely prepared full English, using locally sourced produce accompanied by (nice) orange juice and tea/coffee. Nights were extremely quiet and the bed was comfortable, but we did find the room to be on the cold side - there were radiators, but they only seemed to heat up for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening (having said that, we didn't actually mention this so I'm sure it could have been rectified if we had). Overall a good, friendly B&B at very reasonable prices.

This is a great little getaway within easy driving of a number of attractions and the coast. Your Hosts, Len and Barbara, are wonderful and provide a cooked breakfast (sausage/bacon from their pigs and eggs from their hens) that will keep you going for hours. We stayed in The Studio which was the studio of Daily Express cartoonist, and National Treasure, Carl Giles. It's now a lovely bedroom with lounge area and balcony. A photo of Giles at work and a couple of his cartoons add to the atmosphere. It was our Home from Home for week and we're so glad we found it.
