I think we had the room featured in poor reviews. It is small but has character and is quiet. The beds are comfortable, the room is warm and towels big and fluffy. Ensuite and bedroom are spotlessly clean. However, if you have been climbing mountains, going up to top floor is a challenge you could do without. The plumbing disturbed...

Nice room, clean and large enough in case you get rained in and you don't want to sit in the lounge. The hotel is in a brilliant position near some of the best bars and restaurants, friendly staff happy to help if needed. Breakfast very good. Will be coming back here again.

I have just stayed at Sunnyside for 3 nights. I had a single room with en-suite on the first floor which was well presented and well equipped. Ample space for one person. The breakfasts were particularly good, cooked to order with quality ingredients and all the trimmings. This is a lovely B&B, both professional and friendly and I highly recommend...

Stayed for one night midweek for a more than reasonable price. Room very clean with nice decor. Had everything needed for a very comfortable stay and very quiet as well. Full cooked breakfast was lovely and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a short stay and would have no hesitation in booking again.

Friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bedroom. Bathroom up to date with quality toiletries and white, fluffy towels. Choice of bath and shower. " WOW " can only describe the quality and choice at breakfast. Cheerful, bright dining room and excellent service. Toast hot and the best poached eggs I have ever had.
