Lazy days can be spent on the beach or pier, shopping for souvenirs, visiting the Alice in Wonderland Centre or taking a tram ride up The Great Orme, whilst numerous sporting pursuits are on offer locally. There is limited parking in the guest car park located behind the building but street parking is usually available nearby. We've just returned from the hotel. We stayed for the "sparkling sunday" deal. We were lucky to find a free parking space at hotel and were given a very nice room with seaview on the 2nd floor. Our bottle of prosecco was very nice and dinner very hot and tasty. Coffee was served in the lounge. The hotel was lovely and warm throughout. The bed was nice and comfortable and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We spent 5 days there in March 2020. We went by car, parking was tight! Most of the Hotel was great, looks like its had a re-fit not long ago. Food was good and filling, buffet breakfast great, 3 course evening meal good enough & filling. One of the few Bay Hotels with a swimming pool, decent size, warm water, apart from the one day, it was a bit hot! Changing rooms were a bit 'old' and dirty. No shampoo in the room, but plenty of tea and coffee.

We had a standard room which was clean and tidy but the words swinging a cat come to mind in the shower room. A good shower unit but you could not use it on full powers as the curtain was too short and water shot out side. So a low pressure shower was best. The staff very friendly and helpful, although I did have problems with a low calorie dessert. Two months earlier I had requested it because of my diet, although their desserts did look good. The hotel had acknowledged my request by return email saying it would not be a problem, it took another two days before it worked well, but was worth it! Service was also a little slow in the bar at lunch time but no problem at other times. They were doing renovations but this did not effect our stay.

bedroom was nice apart from the bathroom which was awful. I am only 5 foot but the bathroom was far too small, no where to put your clothes, the shower was useless as had to hold it by hand to get showered and it never got hot only lukewarm. We asked if we could change our room but were told the hotel was full. the dining room had no heating and was freezing, the food choices limited - one evening i didn't like anything on the menu and was offered a salad (in february).
