stayed here 7-11th June with my nan as part of a coach party, upon arrival we were allocated room 220 on the 2nd floor, due to covid restrictions we had to carry our own luggage to the room which is understandable although we still struggled, room was clean with a modern shower fitted although no shampoo/conditioner was available, my nan found the bed to be really hard and uncomfortable and the same with the pillows. tea/coffee making facilities were good with enough supply of each, although was forced to use cardboard takeaway cups instead of actual mugs, curtains didn't close properly and someone who had previously stayed here had fastened them together with a paperclip. the room was situated at the back of the hotel so of course the view wasn't good but as to be expected. on to meal times, the food was very poor and the service was even worse, very slow from the so called waiters breakfast was ok but due to covid restrictions it wasn't self service but you could ask for what you wanted, although most of the time it took that long for them to return with your food it was cold by the time it arrived and this was every day not just on one occasion, we had to shout to get the waiters attention and countless times we was ignored leading us to leaving without having a full meal due to covid as well there was no entertainment provided although the staff that ran the bar were friendly and attentive, prices were a bit steep, £3.50 for a bottle of lager overall the hotel location was situated briliantly and can't be faulted, close to shops and pier. wouldn't recommend staying as overall the hotel is dated and in need of an overhaul, and pretty obvious judging by old reviews of great friendly staff that they all left when lockdown hit and was replaced with people nowhere near their quality

Comfortable, clean hotel with friendly reception desk staff. Large, clean swimming pool and bedrooms. Worth more than its 3 stars, had a thoroughly nice stay. Located on the sea front so straight onto the beach from the hotel. Not much parking but that's the same for all the sea front hotels around this one.

Great location, side sea view. Lift access to all floors. I have not seen an avocado 🥑 bath suite for over 40 years. Very tired. Lino re fitted but not big enough- no way it could be cleaned. Light fitting falling off. Not a great advert for a British hotel. Breakfast good with great service. Certainly not worth the money- but we had a great time. On the sea front at 7am with our son.

the location of this hotel is perfect - we found parking right out front with relative ease and you can pay via app for £5 per day we needed a family room and this was plenty large enough with reasonable beds and overall high level of cleanliness we didnt eat at the hotel but there was a bar which looked quite good - everything is walking distance from this hotel - pier , beach and restaurants
