We went to the Ambassador in January this year for my husbands 80th birthday and can honestly say this hotel was the best we've stayed in Llandudno - and we've stayed in a lot! The staff went out if their way to make us feel at home; such as saying hello to us in the streets on their days off...

Just arrived back today after 5 days at this hotel and had a great time, food, hotel, staff brilliant, the only 'not so good' was the weather but that cannot be helped. Would definitely go back there. Margaret Hosker - Bolton.

OK, if you want want 5*, abit dated & in dire need of modernisation. Staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful. Remember to claim your Bucks fizz & afternoon tea as you will not be prompted. Beds/pillows gave us both backache.

For the modest price we paid I could not really fault what we received. The hotel admittedly is a bit dated but our room was comfortable and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The location is a great base for Llandudno and it isn't far to the bus station if you want to go a bit further afield. Overall, it...

This hotel is so outdated it makes faulty towers look modern. The smell...the decor...the staff all need drastic attention! Arrived & then immediately left after seeing our upgraded suite - was not sleeping in that bed. God knows when it had last been cleaned! Save your money & go elsewhere.
