This was a real little gem of a place.Given all the restrictions in place,we couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. We were here for two nights and could not fault the place. We had everything we needed for our stay in our very clean, tidy and spacious room.If we needed anything, all we had to do was request it via the hotel website. You could order drinks, food, breakfast and anything for the room like toilet roll, tea, coffee, towels etc. We ordered drinks which were brought to us within minutes as was everything else we requested. We had minimal contact with the hosts which was due to the restrictions and whatever contact we did have,we found Chris and Steven very nice and very professional indeed. On our arrival,we parked at the rear of the property and was then met in reception where we were given our room key and enough information for our stay. We payed for everything that we ordered on-line at the end of our stay which was most convenient and worked well. We had a brilliant two nights and needless to say that this will be the first place we will look at when we return to Llandudno. Thank you Chris and Steven for your tireless work and for making us feel very welcome. You are a credit to your type of business.

Hotel's Favourite
We have just returned home from a 3 night stay at Swn Y Mor, and what a first class experience from start to finish. I shouldn’t leave a review during these times without mentioning the Covid protection measures. Ahead of our stay we received notification of what to expect, along with an advanced check-in questionnaire to complete on line. On arrival we were welcomed by Steven who safely handled our check-in, and then explained their procedures to us. This was done at an appropriate social distance and with face masks in use. Keys had been cleaned, and there was no need for us to exchange any pens or paper work. Apart from wearing a face mask while walking in the public areas of the hotel (a legal requirement anyway) everything else was made seamless by the way that Chris and Steven and planned the eating areas and the schedules. There are many more examples, but I won’t go on any more about Covid. Suffice to say that Chris and Steven take their responsibilities very seriously indeed and have things very well covered without it becoming a burden on the guests. As for the hotel itself, I cannot give high enough praise. It is located on the promenade road, so you can step across and be on the seafront in seconds, or you can walk just a few minutes along the road to the café’s , bars or eating places in Llandudno The hotel has its own FREE car park. A big bonus as many alternatives that I considered were asking you to park on the road with no guarantee of a nearby place. We had comfortable room with a good strong shower, a view over the mountains and it was spotlessly clean. The freshly prepared breakfast was superb. My wife needs a gluten free diet yet Chris and Steven were able to offer gluten free options and alternatives for pretty much everything on the menu. We took the evening meal on our final evening, and are now regretting that we did not eat there more often. The meals were home-made, tasty, plentiful and terrific value. Chris and Steven are excellent hosts, and nothing is too much trouble when it comes to making your stay as safe and enjoyable as possible. North Wales has a lot to offer, and we are looking forward to a return visit to Swn Y Mor in the future.

It's been a while since we visited this fabulous hotel, due to the pandemic. It was such a pleasure to be able to stay here again, although only for 2 nights, at the weekend. Personally I was a little anxious as it's the first time we've travelled anywhere in over a year. I needn't have worried at all, Chris and Steven have got everything covered, we felt entirely covid safe at all times! All interactions including checking in & out, making payments, requesting room items can happen online or at a safe distance... whichever guests prefer. Indoor dining is not yet permitted so room service has been introduced, with a reduced menu for the time being. The breakfast boxes were absolutely fantastic...not quite on par with a usual Swn y mor cooked breakfast but as close as you can possibly get! Lunch was not required, which says it all for the brecky! We opted for room service for our evening meals, instead of going for take away because we know that great quality dinners are always available here. All dietary requirements are catered for. The homemade burgers were really, really good and they don't scrimp on a jacket potato filling! The best thing about staying at Swn y mor, as always, is the hosts... Chris & Steven strike that perfect balance offering a very high standard of professionalism whilst also managing to make us feel at home. We can hardly wait until we're able to return. We wouldn't dream of staying elsewhere when visiting Llandudno...we have missed it very much!! 💚

Spent another long weekend here at the Swn Y Mor, it was great to be able to visit once again. Chris and Steven have done everything possible to ensure guest safety and with minimal effect on your overall stay. Everywhere is spotlessly clean anyway, and with the added hand sanitisers and the wearing of face coverings whilst moving around the hotel, you feel completely safe. Communication before my visit explained the slight alterations made to the room settings, and the introduction of the “Guest Hub” means you still have the same high level of service and comfort. The food remains awesome (and plenty of it) I opted for the Eggs Benedict on the Sunday morning and what a great choice I made. They were delicious, I also booked the Sunday lunch, another fabulous, well cooked and tasty meal. Llandudno itself was fairly busy but everywhere is geared up and conscious of the need to keep visitors safe. The weather was kind and again I managed some great local walks. Thanks again for another memorable and much needed break and hopefully it won’t be long before I can visit again.
