Another lovely stay in the Dunoon - great food as always, and the recently refurbished room had been completed to a high standard (tasteful quality, not like many similarly priced hotels). I found the return to table service at breakfast a great improvement, albeit due to COVID-19. It's nice to be able to maintain a conversation rather than everyone getting up every five min to make more toast - please don't bring back the communal toaster, that's what sets you apart from the corporates!

The hotel was clean and the room we had 103 was nice clean and roomy over looking the road out to sea. The food was excellent and plenty of it , stating on the menu ' don't be shy to ask for more if you have a long day in front of you . A special mention must go to Greg the restaurant manager and Olivia who were very professional and attentive. All in all a very nice stay, will highly recommended.

Poor Housekeeping, Good Food - June/July 2021 Our room on the top floor was hot - radiator on full. Wardrobe filthy with blankets etc just thrown in. Carpet stained, stool fabric filthy, no remote control for tiny tv which worked sporadically, toilet seat at angle, shower curtain dirty at bottom. Given towels during week that had holes and threadbare or no towels. Bedroom door left open by staff. Food was good and presented well although staff on Wednesday were grumpy
