Just a break. We really enjoyed the hotel. My wife enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi as it was the first time in ages she has been able to use such facilities. Very welcoming guy in the Gym area who advised on best times to book. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast was partial buffet - I had Manx Kippers which were served. They were amazing - the best I have ever had. Plump and a good portion. Most other items were on a help yourself basis from a well stocked buffet. We had an evening meal there on one night. My wife's fish was superb. My steak was a little disappointing. Our room was a sea front one. Four windows on the front of the hotel. Good bed. A little unfortunate that the chairs were a bit too low to enable a sea view to be enjoyed without standing.

One night stay May '22. The reception staff were SO helpful and accommodating and the young restaurant staff were friendly, efficient and delightful. Hotel spotlessly clean. Restaurant meal was top class., delicious and value for money.. Bedroom was a little warm but it was unseasonably hot weather.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were excellent just the right level of attentiveness that made you feel well looked after. We usually stay in Premier Inn's which are great but I forgot how nice it is to stay in a hotel like this. We ate both nights at the hotel and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was also superb. Rooms were very clean, beds lovely and comfortable and we had a quiet restful nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel and I would stay here again.

Firstly the positives about this hotel was the house keeping staff had cleaned the room to a high standard before we arrived , so nice clean and comfortable room with a bath and shower and I had a fairly good night's sleep......it was a warm weekend so the room got quite warm but the windows do open to let fresh air in if you want it, or take your own little fan if its the height of summer and you like to sleep in the cool. There is a little pool , spa and gym on site ..its small but functional you have to pre book to use it but its easy enough through the hotel app but it's shared with paying members so I imagine it can be quite busy at peak times but you just have to take your chances I guess ...we used it and it was OK. The only thing that really let's this hotel down is the breakfast experience , firstly there was no milk alternative out for the cerials in this day and age I would expect to see soya milk or oat milk out with the cows milk for those who are lactose intolerant or choose to follow a vegan diet ....also the breakfast choice is quite poor for a 4 star, no vegan options .....if the likes of Costa coffee and Greggs can manage it surely a 4 star hotel could offer a decent vegan breakfast and milk alternative.....secondly I repeatedly witnessed the older members of Staff berating some of the younger waiting on staff one for helping each other clear and lay tables and two for greeting hotel guests at the door ..but what are they supposed to do , Ignore people.? ......If there's no member of staff at the door and they see a guest waiting ...from what I saw the young staff were perfectly pleasant and doing there best to see to guests so why that that was a problem I've no idea ? But it was embarrassing for them continually be scolded in earshot of guests over and over , I actually felt sorry for them when they wernt doing anything wrong and this realy needs addressing by the management.

Always stayed in a small B&B but took a gamble booking into what I thought was a 4 star. The main definite dissatisfaction was breakfast. No milk alternative, no bread rolls of any sort, vegan options utterly confused by the staff, no mushrooms!? Baked bean juice? Very very poor offerings. Young staff trying to do the right thing but but being harassed and bullied by older staff clearly within ear shot of guests. For the price I expected a lot more. No I would not recommend and no I would not stay again. Better breakfast on offer at a cafe around the corner.
