Absolutely horrendous and full of Poles who I assume treat it as a bed sit. Room was full of fleas and never stopped itching but was just glad my door remained intact during my stay. Owner told me it was very very run down but never believed it could be that bad! Absolutely disgusting and dangerous place to stay..... I'm...

In our opinion the Westdale Guest House is not as its owner advertised it to us because when we arived at it we found it had a bad smell of stale cooking etc, dodgy wiring in the corridors that was taped over with red insulation tape, damp and mould in its ceilings and walls, rubbish overflowing from the bins at...

Room was OKAY but had been decorated by the previous owner and is very gothic. The sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. Place looks a bit run down and the room was £50. No breakfast though there are plenty of cheap cafes in town where you can get breakfast for about £5-7. The good thing about the place...

Booked for one night but on seeing room booked another night. Room had loads of space with four-poster bed which was unbelievably comfy. Bathroom very clean and spacious too. Great location for a nice little stroll to the promenade

Very quiet location near to everything, which we loved, but the guest house itself could benefit from lots of TLC. I can get over the taped up wallpaper and some easy, but we got barely any sleep, because the bed was just sooooo squeaky whenever we turned.

Like a lot of old property, Westdale is a bit tired and creaky, but I couldn't fault it in terms of value for money. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and well presented, location was great for walking to either the West or North shore from. Our greeting and service were warm and friendly. Bits and pieces could be a touch cleaner...
