Really enjoyed our week at this hotel.Staff were very friendly and helpful nothing seemed too much trouble.A special mention of our waitress Sonia she went all out to look after everyone she served. Our room was very comfortable if a little dated.Bathroom was very smart although not much pressure on shower but apparently this is something to do with being on... Booked this at the last minute as we were attending a festival nearer to Brighton which we received the tickets the day before as the original people couldn't attend. As we would be out for the two days we only needed a bed for the Saturday night so we were not too fussed as long as it was clean, tidy,... More

This is a large hotel just off the sea front that appears to deal largely with the more elderly members of society. You will not get noisy parties in the room next door at 3am. All the staff I dealt with were extremely pleasant, and I was astonished at the efficiency of the breakfast personnel. There were perhaps 60+ people... More

I arrived very late last night after train cancellations & delays. The night porter at Haddon Hall couldn't have been more helpful, very informative & welcoming. The breakfast dining was a little hectic although staff had my name & room number they didn't seem to have organised a place for me. That said they were apologetic & get me sorted,... More

We needed a room for one night in central Eastbourne. Only two important criteria really, it had to be a decent hotel and it had to have parking. Booking.com has a filter that allows you to specify your criteria. So I checked star rating and parking. Recognising that parking might be limited I even specifically requested that a parking space... More

Everything was lovely. My friends have stayed here regularly but this was my first time. Best thing was the friendly approachable staff we had fun with. We Lovely breakfast and evening meals served promptly and with a smile. Entertainment most nights...was full of friendly Welsh people whom we whooped at football during the stay. ;) Rooms could do with some... More

Haddon Hall, situated just off the promenade in Devonshire Place, perfect for the "Bandstand" with its continual fare of tribute bands, sonne et lumiere and all sorts of varied acts throughout the summer. Also well placed for a walk into the quite sizeable town. The hotel looks very smart both inside and out, with a spacious lounge and bar. There is also an entertainment/dance room downstairs and... We have just spent a week here and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Our original room at the back of the hotel had a problem in the bathroom and on reporting it were immediately moved to a room with a sea view for no extra charge. The meals were very good and our waiter Paul was excellent. Very... More
