This was our third stay at the Devonshire Park hotel and once again it exceeded our expectation. Easy to use car park, warm welcome, excellent room and great food - especially breakfast which was exceptional. Ideal position for access to theatres and Towner Gallery - all just opposite the hotel -and for the seafront, just a couple of minutes walk.

Stayed for three nights in early December. We don't often "do" seaside weekends, the last was the Grand in Brighton, so quite a contrast. Warm welcome from receptionist and very warm hotel, we turned our radiator off. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and similarly furnished to the Grand. I can honestly say every aspect of this small hotel surprised...

We were very impressed by Devonshire Park Hotel. The staff exceeded all our expectations. Meals were delicious and we had a lovely large room. Even our fellow guests were good company. And, although the hotel is not right in the centre of the town, it is in very comfortable walking distance and is right by the theatres. Will definitely be...

Booked a last minute weekend break through the Secret Escapes weekend. For the price we paid was not expecting it to be so fantastic. From arrival to leaving the staff were brilliant, the hotel comfortable and the food fantastic. Was a short stroll along the sea front into town Thoroughly enjoyed every minute and will be back again

It really has alot going for it. The location is close to the seafront, ample parking and a less then 10 minute walk to town centre. The room was an ample size and fresh in its appearance. The marker for me is how clean and maintained a bathroom/toilet is, and out facilities were immaculate. We had a package that entitled...

My wife and I enjoyed a comfortable quiet break at the Devonshire Park. The staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was even better than last year. They have a relatively early start to the evening meal time which is very convenient for the nearby theatres. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.

A Travelzoo deal which included afternoon tea (the scones are to die for), evening meal on the first night (asparagus/ham in emmental, turkey, ice cream for my wife and trout, lamb and apricot for me) was divine. The room was large and always warm even though the radiators were never on. In fact it was so warm, especially at night,...

We had room 28 at the front of the hotel and found it to be very comfortable and handy for the lift/stairs. Our deal involved a cream tea, 3 course meal and 2 nights bed and breakfast, and for the price we thought it great value for money. The meal and breakfasts were good too, well presented and cooked to...

We received a warm welcome. The room was clean, but the furniture and decor was a bit tired. Afternoon tea was two scones, jam, cream and a pot of tea. Dinner, which was served very early, was mostly disappointing. The smoked duck starter was very nice but the prawns were a major let-down. They were not fresh but frozen prawns...
