A warm, friendly welcome, a comfortable clean room, easy parking. What more could you want? Having stayed before, I had no reservations booking again. I wasn't disappointed. This time I had a ground floor single room which was more than big enough and nice and quiet. I will not think twice about booking here again the next time I need...

Stayed one night and despite the sombre exterior were delighted to find some old fashioned hospitality in a well appointed hotel with modern facilities. Service was polite and friendly and what a joy to find breakfast served by staff, freshly cooked and piping hot rather than a lukewarm buffet.

An enjoyable and comfortable stay. Our package included Dinner and Breakfast. The food, service and menu was first class. The Duty Manager Hugh, was informative and very helpful. We will definitely return.

Excellent service, food, facilities. Parking can be a problem but the hotel ensured we were safely parked on the premises during our two night stay. When they realised we were celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary, with a break kindly provided by our daughters, the hotel offered us a free upgrade which was very much appreciated and reflects their good attitude...

Stayed one night, dinner bed and breakfast. Chose the hotel for off road parking and were lucky to secure a space upon arrival. We were upgraded to the Wilmington suite which was clean and comfortable with a super king bed, sofa, fridge, 2 TVs and DVD player. Had a lovely bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and nice fluffy towels....

My Wife and me stay at this hotel twice a year, an excellent hotel especially for the older generation although all patrons are made to feel most welcome. Joanne,Hugh and Harry go out of there way to make you feel most welcome. Rooms, choice of menu are excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The good news is that it's cheap. The bad news is that you get what you pay for. Th decor is tired and jaded and the place has the feeling that it's seen better days. There were in the 70s. The room was advertised as a twin but was a very pokey single. The restaurant shuts at 8 which is...
