Lovely hostel for the South Downs, and also convenient for the coast. Old Eastbourne town with its ancient church and inn was a real joy to visit. The warden was very helpful, and clearly works extremely hard to keep this hostel running so well.

This hostel is really nice friendly and helpful staff. Great manager who is interested and very helpful. The hostel has 30 beds and 7 rooms. Plenty of walks outside the front door on the South Downs. Would recommend it to my friends and family.

I had a great time at YHA eastbourne. Everyone was friendly and everything was exactly as listed, clean and comfortable. Rooms a bit crowded but common space was great. Loved the location. Service was friendly.

There were people of all ages staying there - we had our kids with us ages 10 and 15, though we had a family room.
