I went to eat there in the evening. The food portion is a bit small and it will cost around 25-30 pounds per person for dinner. The plus point is that it is probably one of the rare dog friendly places in Mauritius. Most restaurants kick people with dogs out and treat them really badly. I experienced this in many...

We visited this restaurant, because we had seen it some weeks ago during walking around in Pereybere. The food, that we ate, was delicious and "finedining"-decorated. The restaurant is good place to have dinner or lunch in special occasions, when you don´t mind the bill. We had two pastis, two starters as main course, two desserts and a bottle of...

We had seen a write up in a glossy magazine and thought we would give it a try. The hardest part was finding it because it is tucked down a side street and the signs to alert you from the main beach road are not good. But we were pleased that we did find it and enjoyed a very pleasant...

The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff didn't seem to know what to do when I turned up and asked for a room instead of a table for lunch. Checking out was also a problem as it took 25 minutes to transfer hand written scraps of paper into a typed bill. The food at the restaurant was good...

This is a review of the restaurant, not the hotel - I believe rooms at the hotel can be had for the same price as the house wine. If you enjoy paying exorbitant prices for canned beer, profiteroles without cream and deboned quail with bones then this is your place. No menus in English either. A place to avoid.

This is not a hotel but more like someone's house converted into a b&b type of thing. After having read reviews on tripadvisor I decided to make a booking there. The booking was made by text message with no email confirmation. When we went there we saw that there is no reception as such. No check-in procedure like normal hotels. The...

As is often the case, venturing off the main road can be rewarding and the restaurant of this B&B is excellent. Find the Hotel Pereybere on the main street of the village and walk 150 metres down the side street for a real treat. Friendly, prompt service, a good choice of dishes using good ingredients, imaginative and beautifully cooked and...

The restaurant is the best I visited in six days in Pereybere. Wine, croutes aux morilles, pepper crusted seared tuna, cooked to perfection and creme brûlée for one: 32 Euro. I also tried restaurants rated 1 and 3 and this place far outranks them. I was lucky to find it. This place needs to have a separate listing for the...
