Booked a night here at short notice and expected a hostel of stereotypical description. What I did not expect was that the accommodation was more like a hotel and that it was actually within the hospital. Once you got your head round this, it was actually a very good stay. It is a good 20 minute walk to here from...

The reception is 24 hour open. The staff is nice and very helpful. The room is very good and cozy. The toilet is also very clean and modern. The breakfast plan is very worthy. For a backpacker, this is definitely one of the best room. The kitchen in at the basement and fully equipped. It is simply very good!

Great staff, clean rooms and very good breakfast. They were very flexible with check-in and check-out. It is a little bit far from the city centre. I booked a single room, which is not so big, but perfect for one. It was a little bit expensive for a hungarian, but one of the cheapest in Stavanger.

I was living in a "dorm" for two nights. It had 2 beds inside and i was lucky - i had it for myself. It had a fridge, separate bathroom and a TV. The hotel is quite a walk from the city center, but that didn't bother me. It had really good buffet breakfast with low fat, non-gluten and vegetarian...

I stayed here because it's one of the only few hostels offered in Stavanger and I was surprised to find that it's more actually like a hotel (it is a hotel) and I received a hotel guest treatment: good facilities, great breakfast (necessary because many people go to Stavanger to visit the Preikestolen), pleasant service from the staffs and clean...

We booked this hotel/hostel through Hostelling International. We were surprised to find that it was attached to a large busy hospital. It must be very convenient for people visiting family and friends in hospital. The rooms were very clean and more than adequate for travellers. There is a restaurant in the building and the breakfast was very good (buffet style)....

If you search for reasonably priced, good equipped, quiet hotel including a good breakfast, then go for it. But if you pick it, do not complain that it is 20-30 minutes of walk from city centre, that it is a part of hospital and once in a while you can hear a helicopter. Be aware, that there is no hairdryer...

Visited Norway for the first time with parents (celebrating mum's 55th) and found this quaint hotel fairly close to Stavanger central. Rocked up at the front desk only to be greeted by 2-3 people carting around IV drips. Only then did it dawn on us that the hotel is slapped right on the side of a hospital! However, we were...

Stayed for 2N in a female twin room. PROS: Very nice room with TV, clean bathroom (spotless), quiet, cozy, cheaper than most hotels in the city, includes decent breakfast buffet, good WiFi service, cute babies in the morning CONS: 30min walk to the city centre (2km), bus ride costs 32NOK one- way, no power outlet on the upper bunk Airport...
