Feels like staying in someones traditional but modern home. Really great service, breakfast and everything. Nice to stay in a hotel that does not feel like every other hotel, but has its own character for sure.

Dear Karina :-) Thank you so much for your great review! We are so happy to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and felt that our hotel is a home away from home. This is what we wants our guests to feel when they stay with us. We like to mix old an new things, just like a...

This is a vey nice hotel. The good location (near a quite and beautiful park, Relfagbygget of University of Bergen, a delicious Thai restaurant and not far from the city centre), offering very delicious homemade breakfast (I most like homemade Granola, jams, crisp breads, scrambled eggs), and most important is good service (the waitresses are very friendly).

This is an excellent hotel. The location is a little further out of Bergen however it is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town and less to get to the main bus and train station. The breakfast is awesome! The musli is really good and there is free coffee, tea and the best homemade brownies after...

It’s a family owned hotel famous for it’s personal touch & pleasant atmosphere. A place where you get an ambiance entirely different from regular chain of hotels. There are limited rooms on two floors in an attractive traditional building . The staircase is bit narrow & congested for carrying the luggage. The breakfast, which is complimentary is really excellent. Enjoyed...

The hotel is in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. The historic center is about a 15 minute walk. The attendants are very friendly and helped us with the parking tickets. As the hotel is in an old building, the rooms are small and the stairs are narrow, making it difficult to carry luggage. The breakfast is simple but good.

Excellent staying experience in the hotel. The staff is very friendly with warm and sharing heart. Thanks for her, we found out lots of hidden gems in Bergen! The location is wonderful because it's so close to sights but it's in a quiet neighborhood.

We stayed here on our final night of our Norway getaway and this was the 4th hotel we stayed in. We walked from the train station which was OK despite the heavy rain although the steep hill up to the hotel made the calf muscles burn a little! I was looking forward to a nice cold beer but, alas, all...

Dear guest :-) Thank you for taking the time to write a review . It is right that we are a bed and breakfast hotel. We sell beer, wine and soft drinks in the reception. There is a sign telling that at the coffee/tea/ brownie buffet and at the reception desk. Sorry you missed that. We have a lot of...

the bed sinks...so i ended up putting the mattress on the wooden floor and sleeping there instead...being a picky sleeper. breakfast salvaged the bad beds, having homemade strawberry and raspberry jams. the hotel is a 15 minute walk from the core of town..so it feels a bit removed and suburban. very clean generally but the carpet in my room looks...

Wonderful location and nice rooms but, most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Please note that it is a "historic" property, and advertised as such, so it has an old world feel to it that we loved but may not be for everyone.
