For the same price you can have a single room downton where breakfast is included and you dont have to pay extra to buy linens and make you're own bed. There is no nightlight and you have to pay for towels and kitchen equipment. I asked if I could check out 1 1/2 hour later and that would cost me...

I stayed in a four bedroom, the room was big with a kitchen, fridge and table. The bathroom was ensuite, amazing shower. There's a hall at the ground floor with tv, tables and couch to relax, good wifi connection. Also cheap considering the Oslo standards.

High tech facilities in terms of entry and exit of the hostel. The room we got was spacious, the staff were friendly. It provides a simple basic accommodation so if you need anything extra i.e. towels or cooking set, you need to pay. I actually traveled in January 2015, not 2016.

The hall is very nice, peaceful place and very cozy.. inside the building there is a supermarket open until 24 for every needs....

The Anker was excellent. Oslo was gorgeous and The Anker was a brilliant location, with helpful staff. Oslo is notoriously expensive and Anker Apartments are superb value. Very clean and the room was spacious. Our only beef; teenager + adults - was that the Wifi was poo!

Super fast wifi Descent lounge, luggage room. Grocery store integrated into the hostel. You have to pay for the bed Lenin. Even after factoring that cost, Anker is cheap by 'Norwegian' standards. It did perfect fit my purpose.
