Had a nice couple of days at the hotel that is located a short walk from the center of Oslo and close to the opera house and Edward Munch gallery . The hotel stands adjacent to Oslo main train station and has several restaurants close by that can be accessed without needing to venture outside. The staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. Our Bedroom was a reasonable size with a large bathroom. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. It’s a great choice for those who wish to explore the city.

Perfectly located inside Oslo S. Short walking distance to everything. Nearby Østbanehallen has several restaurants. Nice room with nice bathroom and good beds. The room was very spacious. Good, but standard hotel breakfast. Small, but nice lobby bar. An excellent view of Karl Johans gate, the main street in Oslo, and of Jernbanetorget itself with the very well-known statue of the so-called "Oslo tiger". The Oslo Opera House is very close by, and so is Deichmanske library and the Edvard Munch museum. The hotel is perfectly located in downtown Oslo

The entrance to the hotel looks like a back door to the central station. No minibar. Only three hangers in the room. Very very dirty carpet. No power outlet in the bathroom. How come I after all give it two stars? It’s reasonable clean - except the carpet.

First the good bit; this hotel has been built inside the old station building so you can access both the station and all the bars/ restaurants under of old station canopy without having to brave the sub-zero temperatures of a February evening. but though clean and comfortable, my room was definitely at the budget end of the scale, though this was not reflected in the price. It offered little in the way of amenities - not even a kettle to make myself a hot drink.

We were arriving quite late. This hotel is very practically located when you are arriving by train from the airport. The decor is modern although the building is historical. I made the booking using my Nordic Choice points. The price for a standard room was 15.000 points. Just before leaving Finland, I noticed from the app that because of my Nordic Choice Platinum status, we have got an upgrade to Suite #212 which is the Rolling Stones Suite. The money rate for the suite would have been 350 euros. Six years ago, we stayed in Suite #312 located above Suite #212. We liked more the very black decor of Suite #212 than the industrial decor of Suite #312. The rooms are not very well equipped. No bathrobes, minibar, or coffee-making facilities even in the suites. This time there were two drinking glasses instead of plastic cups. The breakfast was very good. Also, the service at the reception was friendly and efficient. You could buy drinks from the reception.…

The staff were welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect for public transport and many of the msin attractions. We had a great 3 night stay for our first trip to Norway/Oslo and hope to return on the summer.

Horrible Hotel! Extremely bad, noisy and difficult to find your way. Stay away! The guy in reception gave a room which didn’t exist. It is like a labirynth! Big mistake. Worse than a hostel. Never stayed in such a place before. Noisy as well!.

The hotel is centrally situated at the main train station. It is great for using streetcars, water taxis, and for walking in central Oslo. It is less expensive than many hotels. However, beware, if you have mobility issues, you do not want to take one of the larger rooms! We were in a room that was up two steps from the hallway, with a small landing. Enter the room, the bath, good size, was one step up from the bedroom. We arrived about 10am, but had to wait until almost 4 pm to get into our room. The hotel staff reported challenges with limited staff. Desk staff speak English, cleaning staff didn't. We considered the steps up to get into the room and the step to get from bed room to bath hazardous. We had a night light that we plugged into an outlet, illuminating the step at night. The light made the room acceptable. We would not rent it again. Other than that physical hazard, the room was large, comfortable, well furnished. Two comfortable easy chairs with a small table and utilitarian metal chair were the main furnishings. Twin beds were more like a king, but were comfortable. There was a metal frame with a couple of hangers, and a luggage rack, a couple of cubes, but no drawer storage. We had a view over the plaza and could see the Oslo Opera House. Breakfast was very ample and included a wide variety of hot and cold items. It was probably the best feature. The dining area is quite small, and again, requires going up a step to reach seating. Additional seating is outside in the hotel's restaurant, down a step or two. Another major benefit -- the hotel is in the main train station. It is ideal for trips elsewhere in Norway, or for the express train to the airport. There are also many restaurants to chose from, including Burger King, sandwich shops, and regular sit down restaurants. We were surprised to find that many restaurants feature Italian food.
