Cool hotel that reflects the former industrial area of Vulkan. The hotel is very close to Oslo's pulsating Grünerløkka, but almost equally close to another great new café and pub street Torggata. Also take a walk down stream Akerselva to visit the contrasing and vibrating area of Blå.

Popular and conveniently located next to one of the best food halls in the city, within walking distance to the main busy streets of Oslo and very close to the neighborhood of Grünerlökka. The room we stayed was a combination of classy and contemporary with nice wooden floors. The hotel has a gym and you can borrow bikes from the...

Very good hotel near Grünerløkka and Mathallen. Modern and clean, with an amazing breakfast. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Our only negative experience was that roomservice forgot to clean our room - I'm pretty sure it isn't usually a general problem at this hotel (everything looked clean), but for some reason they simply forgot ours even though we put up...

Thank you! Such a great review here on TripAdvisor. I am very sorry about the inconvenience regarding cleaning your room during your stay. We're usually pretty good at cleaning, so this was a boring oversight. Still, I hope you will return to Vulkan at a later occasion.

Very nice hotel, about a 15-20 minute walk from the main centre but worth it as it is in a rellly nice area, with many bars and places to eat in a regenerated area of old buildings away from the city centre. There are two buses right outside that go into the centre but the walk is easy. Very nice...
