We stayed here for 4 nights wile attending a conference in Vienna. It is a relatively new hotel which was nice and our superior room was large for Austria. The amenities were more 3 star than 4, not nice little bottles of shampoo but the budget soap dispensers on the wall. The bathroom and toilet (not in the bathroom) had...

We are a family of four, with a teenage and adult son. We arrived at the Strudlhof to a very warm welcome, after a very long drive. We were offered a suite which was immaculately clean and comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were charming and it was pleasant to sit out in th evening. The breakfast was excellent and...

Hard to write review about this hotel but I will stress that the property is modern, in a very quiet residential area across the road from Liechtenstein museum Region 9 and imaculately clean. Had bad experience on arriving as they had overbooked. This hotel building is similar to Ibis Hotels. On entering there is small foyer with reception desk, on...

I don't know why I'm writing a review on the Strudlhof really. It doesn't really inspire me, and I can barely remember my stay, even though it was only 6 days ago. But sometimes when you're travelling on business, all you want from a hotel is a good night's sleep in a convenient location, somewhere to park your car safely,...

From the moment we arrived at the Strudlhof Hotel it was clear we were not welcome with our two small children. We were greeted at the reception desk by a woman who looked at our two boys, ages 5 and 2, and said, "Nobody informed us you had children. Now we're going to have to make up extra beds for...

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights during my business trip to Vienna. The hotel is located in a quiet place, just across the street from LIECHTENSTEIN MUSEUM The hotel offers a spacious air-conditioned room, versatile cold and warm breakfast with a choice of pastry and fruits. You have, however, to order your personal coffee pot, and it might...

This is an hotel at a walking distance from Vienna's University but about 40 minutes walk from the city center. Once we master the trams or metro systems, it is easy to reach the center. The tram passing by the museums drops us in front of the hotel. The hotel is modern, rooms are nice and the buffet breakfast, included...

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
