Hotel location looks as far distance from the center. But, there is U3 subway almost completely posted into the tube under the surface and because of that fact very efficient in moving. The speed is high and in couple of minutes you at destination.

We didn't pay much, so we didn't expect any five star hotel... for us, this was really good! Big room, clean cheats, quiet and near transportations. Tram is going front of the hotel and metro station Ottakring is near.

I spent 3 nights in the hotel with my boyfriend . It was last minute booking and it was really difficult to find a place to sleep in wienna. It's high season and we paid 250€ for two with breakfast. I think it's really cheap. Hotel isn't new or renovated, but it's great value for the money. Rooms are nice...

The hotel is placed in the Ottakring district, at 600m of a park and ride facility, where you cand park with about 3.5 euro per day. Right in front of the hotel there is also a tram and bus station, and the metro is at 600m. The connections to centre are excellent. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The beds,...

For us, this is a company occupied accommodation. The website can be seen normally clean rooms. In reality, the room is dirty and smelly. I stepped into the shower near the toilet. the floor mats were black stains on the curtains and dusty smells. however, older gentleman at the reception is very kind and helpful, and sympathetic support normal boy.

The room was dirty, and smely. The hotel is old. I dint like it. The breakfast is ok. In my opinoin avoid this hotel. The hotel has no parking. The only plus is thata is a tram station in front of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel as a last minute decision to visit Vienna from Budapest. The booking.com site showed that 96% of hotels were booked for our dates and hence had to book a hotel far from city center. This is a basic hotel with basic decor and the furniture is old . They have a small reception. The person...

They charged my credit card upfront without my consent for 3 nights, only stayed for 2, have not refunded me to date (and its been 14+ dates) so I had to submit a fraud case to Visa. Wanting me to pay at checkin time should have warned me....

We stayed in the hotel for just one night but it was a very good choice. The room was big, clean and nice. The bed and the sheets were also very cozy and clean. The radiator was easy to change so we could manage the heating easly. There is a bus and tram stop in front of the hotel and...

Hotel hadrigan is an old and simple hotel. Strangely enough it was not that easy to find, because nowhere on the facade the name of the hotel is even mentioned. The only thing that gave away the right location it the street number next to the door. The rooms are in a bit outdated state and the mattresses are very...

Staying in Ottakring

Neighbourhood Profile
Ottakring
The production site of popular Ottakringer beer brews up an exciting mix of working and middle class suburbs, Balkanese immigrant lifestyles, and lush patches of hilly woodland. The recently gentrified area around Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt boasts hip cafés and bars next to South East European delicacies at Brunnenmarkt street market. The dynamics of Ottakring become most apparent at its vibrant high street Ottakringer Strasse. At the top end you can feast on wine and local food in Austria’s oldest wine tavern 10er Marie. The wines are from the tavern’s own urban vineyards. Before you head upwards, make sure you pay a visit to the historic courtyards between Lerchenfelder Gürtel and Hippgasse. When locals visit Ottakring’s hilly green outskirts on the weekends they either climb up 31 meters of Jubiläumswarte viewing tower on Gallitzinberg, have a succulent Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Aurora, or reward their hiking exertions around Wilhelminenberg with a drink and a view from Wilhelminenberg Palace (now a hotel and restaurant).

“I was on the third floor, in the front, and I had early a.m. noise when the early shift came on at 3am. The hotel has heat running (it was not really cold, but I am guessing it might have been without the heat) so I had my window open, so there was frequent smoke drifting up from smokers in the areas below.”
