We had a two night stay at this cute, luxury hotel situated in the Museum Quarter of Vienna.
The most extraordinary thing about this hotel is the artwork. Everywhere you look there's something unusual to look at - from the giant apples in the breakfast...More
Spent six nights in the Das Tyrol in September. The staff was super great from the people who manned the desk and were so helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions to the women in the dining room who were so friendly during the included breakfasts....More
Wonderful smaller hotel in a great location near many of the major sites and transit lines. Great breakfast and eagerly helpful staff, big room that was well appointed. We had room 40 I believe - think 20, 30, and 50 would be the same -...More

Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with
its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
