Clean, spacious rooms, modern style, good location for exploring the city, very cozy cafe by the hotel lobby, very friendly staff. Ideal for a short city break, modern urban feel near the historic center.

Good location and good value for Vienna. The rooms were warm, clean and spacious for a single room, well equipped and brightly lit. Bathrooms were provided with toiletries as well and shower was hot and with good pressure. Receptionists were friendly and the cafe next door provides decent food. The only downside was the lack of elevator. It won't be...

(+) Great location , metro station near by, very satisfying breakfast, comfortable bed, wi-fi works, nice staff, good value for money (-) Very small bathroom, the hotel needs some renovation; disappointed in not being able to reserve parking (however there are many underground parking lots near by)

In Vienna to visit friends and the city and booked the hotel as it is near to their appartement. Location: near Mariahilfe str, busstop nearby. On a weekday trafic oozes through the eardrums early in the morning. Atmosphere: blend of oriental and modern I guess. The floors looked worn down, the walls certainly need to meet a brush with new...

I have stayed in Mocca Hotel several times. It is always pleasant to stay there. The hotel location is perfect. On the one hand it is located in the quiet place, and on the other hand it is near to the city center. It is very near to Mariahilfestrasse, which is the central shopping street in Vienna. The rooms in...

We stayed there 3 nights. The elevator was not working and it seems that is has not been working for a while. Tv didn't work and some lightbulbs in our room were not working either. Breakfast was amazing and the location and price are very convenient. We were expecting a little more though.

Hotel description about on-site parking is a cheating. We reserved parking space but there was no room in the garage. Elevator not working.Parquet stains guide seems to look dirty but was cleaned. The room is very small for a double room and it's. Dirty towels take away, but not replace with a clean towels. The shower was uncomfortable. Receptionist was...

Nice location and friendly reception, moreover (I have been to other 3 countries around Europe in same type hotels) I have to admit this the first hotel which gave me a proper check-in with full information about breakfast and relevant information. On the other hand, the ventilation could be better, I felt a bit humid and hot. Yes, it was...

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
