Stayed at this special hotel for its city centre location, pool and spa facilities and reputation for outstanding quality of service. We were not disappointed. The staff were superb and the hotel has style and comfort in abundance.

This was only the third time I've stayed at a Ritz and perhaps I have unreasonable standards...... but, for the money, I felt that it left a lot to be desired. Our room was in an awkward place and difficult to get to. Inside, the chain on the door was broken and hanging by a screw. The desk leg was... More

My stay at the Ritz was fantastic. The property is tastefully luxurious and well situated for siteseeing. The room was exceptionally comfortable, well appointed, very modern but with plenty of charm. The hotel amenities are extensive...there is even a pool! The spa was very nice but to be fair, the services a little pricey. Most notable during the stay was... More

Outstanding boutique hotel that was perfect for a New Years Trip. Restaurant and penthouse celebration were both excellent as well as tours and location for general area. Great location. Accomodations really nice and service very nice. Bar in hotel was exceptional.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay here and would consider returning. However, while the Ritz Vienna is comfortable it isn't particularly exceptional in any way. At nearly 900 square feet, our 2 room club suite on the 6th floor was very spacious and had a decent view toward Stephansplatz. However, it reeked of cigarette smoke. This smell abated over... More

The Ritz Carlton in Vienna is a beautiful hotel, the service was truly first class and the spa service, a relaxation massage, was most definitely one of the best I have received. I would highly recommend this hotel.

When does a hotel with grand pedigree and reputation, great accommodations, hard working staff and central location fall short? Here in Vienna at the Ritz. The hotel still has one of those TV'S that require 2 remotes to operate, no movies (including pay per view) too many stairs( my floor was a split level so to get to my room... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us and I am really sorry to hear that we fell short of your expectations. However I do feel compelled to reply to a few points: Our televisions actually only do have one remote, I am not sure why there were two in your room unless you were staying in... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in mid November. Our room, on the 5th floor, overlooked a side street and had two sets of large windows which let in lots of light but were well insulated so kept out the bitter weather. The bathroom was large and the water in the separate shower was like an Amazon... More

Stayed 3 nights. Location excellent. Decor a little dated in public rooms but staff faultless. Room good with excellent bathroom. The best however was the breakfast. For some reason we were allocated the Dstrict restuarant for breakfast and it was stunning. Steak and eggs yogurt with fresh fruit and granola French toast ham etc etc all served at the table,... Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
