#21 of 387 hotels in Vienna
Travellers' Choice
Vienna's one and only wine themed hotel is looking forward to hosting all wine lovers as well as lovers of quality and small, special hotels. All our 39 rooms and the suite are dedicated to Austrian premium winemakers and are featuring clear and state of the art design and function, enhanced with a lot of love for the details and some quirky things, too. Don't be surprised!!! You will find the wines of your partner vintner in your room and all the other wines in our wine lounge. We serve, of course, wine 24 hours a day. Our attic suite (80 sqm with private rooftop terrace) is dedicated to German vintners...! Why? Because we love Riesling! The hotel has a fantastic location, quiet but only about 5 minutes walking distance from the Ringstreet and the Museumsquarter away. Our guests also love the quality of the breakfast buffet, offering regional high quality specialities. All the egg platters are made from freerange eggs fresh and individually for you! As you can see in the reviews our staff is always there for insider tipps and news in Vienna! We are looking forward to welcome you soon!

We stayed for four nights and we were sad to go! The staff were so friendly, our room was perfect for a family of two adults and two kids, and the location was great especially for visiting the museums. Breakfast was a tasty mix of high quality buffet plus items especially made for us (our kids loved the decorated soft boiled eggs). Coffee was excellent and generously given at any time. We mistakenly left a small item in our room and the hotel contacted us after departure and arranged for delivery to us. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

Hotel's Favourite
I spend a weekend here... booked online, with no sense of the city.. unsure whether I chose a good location. I was very happy with the choice. Just a bit touch outside the center ring but very close to the museums and the buzz (trams, shopping, tourist sites, etc. all an easy walk). The breakfast was beautiful... tons of options, fresh and delicous. I had a slow lazy breakfast both days. The wine bar has a lovely selection so it's a great spot for both night caps and morning coffee. Room was roomy, clean and comfy - modern yet cozy, view of city skyline. I would stay again on my next visit (especially since they have been so nice as to locate and return my ipad cord!). Happy camper.

Usually we never book the same hotel twice. We like the new experience. Something made me break the rule and it was great idea. The place kept it's high standard of service (we have been there in winter of 2013). Every thing is great in this hotel. Location is near the museums and the ring, and also to Spitelberg and Neubau. The rooms are highly decorated and roomy, spotless clean and the breakfast is rich and tasty. Service is attentive and with a smile. We really felt like coming home again. We will be back, and hopefully sooner. Thanks for you kindness. Liav and Iris.

In walking distance of the Museum district and the city center, the hotel also allows to discover the Josephstadt Neighborhood, the Restaurants and the very different architecture. The assortment of wine by the glass at the bar allows to discover the great Austrian wines, guided by a very good somelier.

Evo Kitchen & Bar is rated as the second best restaurant in Portland but we think it could easily take over the title as the BEST in Portland. It was our first time there but certainly won't be the last. We had dinner with our son and his girlfriend, upstairs overlooking the Old Port through a 20' glass wall. Outside there are "chalets" were privacy and isolation rule but because the restaurant has installed state of the art filtration systems, we were comfortable at our appropriately distanced table. Dinner was more than excellent, starting with the Skordalia, a potato based hummus with almonds, scallions and jalapenos and cold Asparagus with a dill, mustard, creme fraiche sauce - both totally amazing. On to Flank Steak with potato, garlic and mushrooms (times two) for the youngers, Seared Tuna with tumeric, ginger and scallion for my charming husband who claims this to be one of the best meals he has ever had and Lamb Kebab with tahini, pickled onion and sumac for me - beyond delicious. We ended by each ordering a different dessert with the intention of sharing, but it didn't end up that way LOL. Love, love, loved Evo Kitchen and Bar.
