Hotel is not central but easy to reach main attractions like Schonbrunn via Ubahn (metro) 8 minutes walk and central Vienna. Quiet residential area with grocery store, restaurants and other services nearby. Breakfast is European style but very nice. Only
Overall, a pleasant stay in a basic hotel. PROs: very friendly staff; clean rooms; easy access to transportation (bus/metro), window A/C in room. CONS: no hotel parking available; either park on one of the side streets for E2,20 per hr (free on Sat/Sun); or park at nearest park and ride garage which is very affordable (E3,10 per day) and a 17 minute walk from hotel. Surrounding area has a decent selection of restaurants within walking distance. Bottom line: nothing really negative and nothing outstanding with the exception of the staff's friendliness and willingness to assist.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Club Cortina. The room was comfortable, the staff were most helpful, It was an easy walk to the train station and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day .
Absolutely fabulous resort in the midst of Vienna . Great facility, immaculately maintained during 3 week stay. Staff extremely helpful navigating changing federal and state regulations on Covid protections.
a residence with an extremely friendly and helpful personnel. very good situation, in a very quiet part of Vienna, with easy free parking in the surrounding streets if you come by car. And very good public transport facilities if you go to the center of Vienna, or if you come from the airport.
Nice hotel, close to centrum via U4 metro line - only approx. 15 mins. Metro station from hotel 5 mins. by walk. Very nice hotel room. Solid WiFi with fine speed. Quite place. Staff always smilling. Small problem with parking as hotel has only 2 places for check-in/check-out but there are lot of free of charge public parking slots in the near streets.
We booked thru RCI members for a studio but was given just a normal room. The hotel refused to change our room but instead gave us a microwave to use in the room. Location is far from the city but the bus to the train station is on time as scheduled. We took an Uber ride €5 on our first day from the closest train station to the hotel and on our last day very early in the morning from hotel to the train station to the airport. Overall we enjoyed Vienna and will come back again.
The location is quiet and restful.Hotel Cortina is only a 10-minute walk from the Ober Sankt Veit Underground Station. Room was clean and cozy. Excellent staff. We received personal and responsive response to all our requests. Highly recommend !
This hotel was chosen as it was in Vienna itself (as opposed to other RCI accommodation in Europe which were further from train stations and away from cities) and has given me the opportunity to plan my Europe travel itinerary based on this chosen accommodation offered by RCI. It is a very pleasant small hotel with complete in-room facilities (i.e. towels, safe box, bed linen, kettle, cups, drinking glasses, fridge). It is located in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood which is like a small village by itself. The only downside of this hotel is its location which is 900 meters away from the nearest Metro station. There is a bus stop located in front of the hotel but buses are not very frequent (10 to 30 minutes intervals depending on the time of the day and they are not accurate to the minute in accordance to the published schedules). At most timea you would reach the hotel quicker walking from the Metro or tram stations than waiting for the buses. Also, it takes an average of 40 to an hour journey to the city centre by public transport (20 minutes by car). …
Not sure how it is rated a 4 star hotel. Very basic rooms. We stayed the first 2 nights in August where it was 30 degrees and the room didn't have air conditioning and the window barely opened. We went to reception where the best they could offer was a fan which would cost me €10 deposit and this was useless. First night we got to room and didn't have any duvets in the room at all, luckily as mentioned it was a sweatbox so didn't need a duvet. Saying that the shower was good and rooms were tidy. Very very dated hotel.
