We booked via BA breaks and had 2 rooms. Before arriving we telephoned/texted hotel to book an airport transfer, and to have the 2 rooms next to each other, as we had daughter and 2 year old with us. The transfer was ok but didn't meet us where we were told, we asked and had been told the taxi would take cards but didn't. Easy access for childrens' push chairs/wheel chairchairs. Reception was polite and efficient but were told we could't have adjacent rooms and that allocated rooms were on different floors. The hotel upsells and we were offered de luxe rooms at E10 per room per night and we could have rooms next to each other. We accepted and was invaluable for us. The rooms are well thought out, nicely decorated, spotless, with spacious wardrobe space and good bathroom (shower no bath), tea making, and a fridge. A pity there were not just 1 or 2 English channels (not even BBC, though on the list) to keep the child amused or news. However, real thought has been given for a 3 star. Exceptional was the buffet breakfast that covered most bases; if a criticism was simply that items were not always replaced when they ran out and had to be reminded. No problem for a slightly later check out (usual is 1100) and we got them to arrange airport transfer and this time no problem. U bahn stop is 20 yards away with 2 stops to the centre and 3 to museums/old market area. A Spar shop nearby (we wanted childs full cream milk!) and a number of varied restaurants; a 15 minute walk to the Prater. Deal was 3 nights for 2 and on that basis would stay again.

Two years ago, I had stayed in Capri and wrote a raving review. Now we have returned, and it was as good as I remembered. Perfectly located on busy Praterstrasse, but with private parking (20 euros / day) and asking for a quiet courtyard room you have all the advantages without any of the drawbacks. The U1 line (Nestroyplatz stop right in front of Capri) of the very efficient Vienna underground takes you easily to most of the touristic places. Rooms, breakfast, service – everything just perfect.
Thanks again, Capri!

We stayed in this beautiful hotel from 4-7/11/21.Upon arrival, Pavel, member of the Welcome Crew, was very kind, flexible and made us already feel like home. During our stay he helped us a lot with anything we asked. We were 2 couples so we had 2 rooms with balconies. Except from the bathrooms which are a little bit small but they contain everything you need, the rooms are very spacious, lovely furnished and cleaned every day with care for every detail!. The rooms' environment is chemical-free! Everything inside is bio:coffee,candies.. Each hotel's floor has got its history and each room its name dedicated to a famous austrian personality. The breakfast buffet was an unexpected surprise for us. Because of covid 19 almost everything was presented and served in individual portions:cheese, beacon, salads and more. Mr Ibrahim, the supervisor and Steffi guided us explaining everything on the buffet, so we tasted the viennese soul food. We highly recommend Das Capri hotel ( soon Henriette stadthotel) for its hospitality and its central location with the underground right in front. We appreciated staying at a family-run, indipendent private hotel where people care about clients and the environment keeping up with the motto:" Live well feel good". Kalkanis family, Greece, Athens

This hotel ticks all the boxes, location, lovely rooms but best of all are the thoughtful touches and most accommodating and attentive staff. Breakfast is very special with lots of choice 10/10. Also we were there celebrating a milestone birthday so when housekeeping visited the room they must have spotted the birthday cards and balloons. So when we returned they had left a message in a card and bottle and cake! Very much appreciated!!

Very difficult to pick out favourite bits at this hotel as this is most probably the best hotel stay I have had. The location opposite the lift for the Ubahn is excellent, all the hotel staff go above and beyond with their service to guests, the use of photographs and stories make the hotel a living testimony to Vienna, the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable but if pushed for the real outstanding item it must be the breakfast. It will be worth returning to Vienna just to stay here again. Scores of ten out of ten do not do it justice it is at least twelve out of ten. Congratulations to the owners and staff who have created a little bit of heaven on Praterstraße.

As an Austrian Family living in The Netherlands we visit yearly Vienna at Christmas time to enjoy being home and see family.
After having seen many AirB&B‘s it was a great pleasure being treated so greatly at Henriettes Hotel former known as Das Capri which we had visited in the past.
For us this location is perfect since we almost can do everything by walking. If we need the metro it is just in front of the door. Our car stayed put save on a hotel owned parking spot in the little bak courtyard.
Breakfast is plenty in choice and we had more then enough space to enjoy it since people spread in the separate rooms.
The family suite was perfect for our two grown up kids with two separated single beds. Spacious enough for having a conference call at the desk in the mane bedroom without disturbing everyone.
We definitely can recommend this hotel for either a short or a long stay.

Very nice hotel in quieter area of Vienna, with access to metro line 1 literally right outside the door. Having stayed here four years ago, I decided to try again and pleased that I did. Had a Superior room with balcony, which faces the courtyard (which is also a parking lot), and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was large with lots of counter space and good lighting. The shower is like a tube that was a bit tight for me, but good water pressure. Breakfast had plenty to choose from. Only thing was ordering scrambled eggs was an additional charge whereas most hotels would have a tray of scrambled eggs at the ready. Rooms were very quiet and really never heard anything, even in hallways. Would have been nice if they provided complimentary water bottles rather than high priced mini bar items, but local Spar is only a few buildings down to get your refreshments and munchies. There are also many any good restaurants nearby which is nice. Staff were always helpful and pleasant.

Overall very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again if in Vienna.

This was a perfect hotel for us for a 3-day city break in the wonderful city of Vienna. It's not much to look at from the outside but please don't be put off by that. Everything about our experience was fantastic - very clean, comfortable, spacious room, friendly welcoming staff who were always happy to help with whatever, delicious, varied and filling breakfast. The location is very convenient, right next to an U-bahn station and 20 minutes walk into the historic city centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again when I'm next visiting.

We stayed here for my 40th birthday and visited the Christmas markets and used the Vienna pass to visit the palaces etc. They have iPads in the large, comfortable rooms that tell you a wealth of information to help you make the best of your time. It was a fair walk to the main sights but not a problem for us, and Stephansdom wasn't too far where you can pick up the tourist buses or the metro by the river. Breakfast was good and they gave us a lovely little sample packet of biscuits on leaving. I would stay here again.

Dear Laura, thank you for reaching out to us! Our Wakeup Crew currently sets up a self service buffet for our guests with various dishes prepared on small portion plates. So guests can grab one or more plates but don't need to bustle too much around the buffet table. Egg dishes are freshly made and served to your table. Our guests are kindly asked to sanitize their hands before approaching the buffet table. A hand disinfectant dispenser is of course available. We are also seeking to make sure that the breakfast room doesn't get too crowded so you can enjoy our Viennese Feel Good breakfast without worrying about maintaining social distancing. Of course, we adhere to all the official Covid regulations that are currently in place in Vienna. Please be assured that we are closely watching the development of the situation and - if necessary - will not hesitate to adjust the breakfast set-up accordingly. Most important: If there’s anything you’re unsure of or uncomfortable with, please don’t hesitate to contact or talk to us anytime! We will do our very best to accommodate your wishes. We hope to welcome you soon at Das Capri! Distinti saluti da Vienna Das Capri Team
