We had problem with resavation in another hotel so we found the Domizil hotel. It was good value for money. Location is great! Close to Kartner St. It is a decent hotel. Don't expect for more. Good if you are with strict budget and location is important for you.

Spotlessly clean, pleasant staff, room fine. A number of restaurants nearby for dinner. It's just a few minutes walk from the very heart of the City and the underground system. The only snag, if it is one, is that because the centre of Vienna is heavily pedestrianized, it's probably a five to ten minute walk to the tram system. It's...

We stayed here for only one night but we were very happy with our experience. The hotel is only three minutes walk from St. Stephens, and so for 100 euros including breakfast, this was a great find. The reception was done in a very traditional style, with lots of history, and everyone we met was friendly and spoke English too....

A great hotel, we were very happy to stay here! This was the last leg of a 12 day journey for us. The staff (both prior to arrival and while there) were very helpful and polite. It is a wonderful area, we felt very safe. The hotel itself, including the rooms were clean and well cared for. Our room, though...

Good relation for price, service, quality of rooms and location. It is just a few minutes away from the Stephansdom, an estimated 100m. It does not have an own hotel parking lot, though. You can either leave the car in a garage, 32.- € per day, they will collect it and bring it back to the hotel on command. Alternatively,...

Pension Domizil exceeded my expectations! The staff is professional and helpful - everybody speaks excellent English. My room was very clean, spacious and comfortable - high ceilings, big bathroom, a desk, etc. The wi-fi was not very reliable with internet speeds varying greatly throughout the day, and this is my only gripe about my entire experience there. The hotel feels...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
