We flew into vienna and found it very easy to get to Schweizer Pension from the airport. The location was excellent for walking around the city. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel was value for money. The only small problem was the distance of the shared bathrooms from the room. But generally we found it clean, comfortable and friendly...

The guest house is on the fourth floor of a city block (with a lift) very conveniently situated in the central part of Vienna, a short walk from the Stephansdom and near Schottenring metro station (and the airport bus stop). The owner and staff could not be more welcoming, and the (cold) breakfast was good. The rooms are clean and...

We enjoyed very much staying in the Schweizer Pension. The room was big and very convenient. It had everything you needed including a safe. Breakfast was good and generously served. The pension is located close to Vienna's attractions within a walking distance. The U-bahn and the trams are also very close. Klaus, the owner, is a great guy – very...

I spent 2 nights at this fabulously located pension in the heart of Wien. It is very clean, has a lift (important for luggage) and is very quiet. The room was spacious with a lovely view overlooking the local park and breakfast is lovely. Frau Klaus is delightful and very particular - a trait that we found to be very...

This was our last stop on our European trip. I had every reason to be cranky. Our accommodations however, were lovely. The room was spotless, the breakfast was wonderful and our hosts were accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this delightful b&b to anyone looking to explore the beautiful city of Vienna.

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of May 2012. VERY CLEAN. Great view of a park from our room. Nice breakfast, conveniently close to the rooms. An elevator, so important when you have heavy luggage. Not a bad walk to the U-bahn, just a few blocks. In the Innere Stadt, so close to all...

This is a very well located pension with tremendous value. Frau Klaus is a cheerful and accommodating host and the breakfast is delicious. Her family has a history of hospitality and she carries on the tradition proudly. The pension is quiet and comfortable. It is located a few blocks from the Schottenring U4 train stop and also a few blocks...

Perfect spot to enjoy Vienna. The accommodation standard is good quality three star. The building is 125 years old and very beautiful howver it is undergoing a facade restoration and many rooms have scaffold and opaque plastic over the windows. If staying there in the near future ask for a room that has the restoration work completed. Good breakfast and...

We stayed here for two nights in May and found it to be a very good value. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, view out our window was of a green area with trees. There is a grocery store across the street if you want to buy supplies. The breakfast was also very good with an excellent selection...

at not even 300m from the aeroport bus station, this cozy B&B is situated at 5 minutes walk from mostly all attractions in Vienna. You really don't need any bus ticket to get around from here. Really quite, the home keeper is soooo nice and helps you to find the best local restaurants and shops! The rooms are simple but...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
